The sliders are a nifty addition and the (partial) removal of scripted kills is very welcome, but I'm definitely not a fan of the necessity to adapt to successful modern trends that involve giant colourful prompts, hack 'n slashy counters and various mechanics inspired by the couch planet. I genuinely miss the straightforwardness of the classic run & gun Doom formula. Also, €80 + D 🤡
this series has gotten too "gamey" with the very specific way you have to kill certain enemies or use certain items to get certain flying glowing pickups, and it looks like they've made it even worse than Eternal. Can't believe im saying this but im probably gonna pass on playing a Doom game
Coming from the previous doom games which could look great and run at blazing FPS on any random potato, yeah. Probably bloated with bullshit no one asked for.
Well, they're applying every single trick in the book for selling these flarking products....
This game is definitely one of the BIG GUNS in the industry.
So, the 'stakes' are HIGH(!): investors are clenching their butt-cheeks and the poor shareholders tremble in fear at the premise that they won't be able to buy yet another personal island...
Gaymepiss versions are mostly shit, lad, that's how it goes mate.
Better off activating patient pirate bear mode and wait for cracl, game should run ok with a RTX7030 by then

Patient bear always wins. Not giving corpos any penny I can keep to my poor self.
It's BS system riq designed to forcefully push new Hardware, the first 2 games were relatively optimized, Doom Eternal could even run on the fucking Switch, this game is monstrosity demanding game and even base priced on outrageously high.
Wtf. It looks like a phone game where you can’t move.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
