Well, in my oppinion, major props should go to Reloaded and Deviance. Why? Cause these guys never stoped trying to crack starforce games (specially Reloaded), and now they are showing companies that they can crack starforce games. So if u are a manager of a company will u spend a lot of many in a protection that will be cracked (eventually)? Or should u save this money and put another protectin less expensive?
The other props should go to people that start boycoitting starforce, not because it is an "uncrackable" protection but because it can really do some bad sh*t to your pc.
In third place we should thank ubisoft because they opened their eyes, and hears, and listen to some of the users complaints.

No, it's not. How about you read the story before posting garbage.
"The original forum thread (English) contains a Ubisoft employee claiming "We have decided that the anti-copy protection used on the future Ubisoft games won't be the StarForce software" (translated French to English)."
Does that sound like a rumor to you?
Also, the demo of HOMMV doesn't contain starforce.

Yeah, the starforce mods did say that. I wasn't saying that UBISOFT wasn't going to use other protection, just that they aren't using starforce.

Please read this,
"Ubisoft officially dumps Starforce
Citing "complaints," the publisher ends its relationship with the copyright-protection provider.
Following several days of rumors, Ubisoft has officially confirmed that it will no longer use the controversial digital-rights software from Starforce. "Ubisoft has decided to use an alternative copy protection system to Starforce for upcoming releases," said a rep for the company. The announcement means that Starforce software will not be included in Heroes of Might and Magic V, the publisher's much-anticipated forthcoming PC role-playing game.
Ubisoft's decision caps weeks of controversy surrounding Starforce. In Mid-march, an employee of the Russian-German-Chinese-Cypriot company was accused of posting a link to a site where users could illegally download Stardock's space-sim Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords. Shortly, thereafter, Aspyr Media decided to sever its relationship with Starforce and remove its software from its forthcoming game, Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars.
Ubisoft's motivation for ending its agreement with Starforce was more personal. At the end of March, the company was slapped with a $5 million lawsuit by gamers who claimed that Starforce's DRM system compromised the security of their PCs. "We are currently investigating complaints about alleged problems with Starforce’s software," said the Ubisoft rep.

I say dont believe the PR bullshit till you effectly see upcoming ubisoft games dropping starforce.
example of PR bullshit:
"Aspyr Media decided to sever its relationship with Starforce and remove its software from its forthcoming game, Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars"
-> weird spellforce 2 has starforce duh...

finally, no starforce!!! Does this mean that upcoming Resident Evil 4 and Splinter Cell 4 are not gonna be protected by that shit?? Tremendous.... I knew that it wouldn't last for long. Lots of people were having problem with ORYGINAL games bought in shops (not to mention pirate releases that were sometimes not so crappy at all) so finallly and after all UBI went to look for their brains... hope they wont find out something evern worser than starforce... but.. could anything be worser...
