Also no big isssues, also not before the patch, very few crashes, only at some bubble anomalies where the game freezes and crashes, should try it now if that is fixed.
The game is still fun, and very happy with it. Also with the fixes.

Most helpful positive review on Steam, 22 Nov, includes:
Quote: | Optimization - it's just bad. Waiting for patches.
A-LIFE - there's no A-LIFE. Game just spawns enemies within 50-100 meters. Hope patches will make it work like in previous games, because without it it's not STALKER and the world is empty and lifeless without it. |

Imagine buying this new game, full price, optimisation is awful and you consider the game world empty and lifeless. No guarantee this will be fixed, no obligation for the developer to do anything, but the review is positive.
People are really, really stupid. They objectively work against what is good for them, and us, as a whole. A game should ALWAYS be judged as it stands, not what it could or should be. The game should speak for itself and the reviews should reflect that in a way that pressures the developers into doing the right thing. When they do, update the review and change it to positive.
Alternatively, just have a fucking sook that people are too negative, despite the fact an extremely undercooked product has once again hit the shelves

Lol maybe just look for another hobby then, trying a guilt trip on people enjoying a game...not happening. Never bought a game because you or anyone else like or did not like it. Every gamethread here ends in the same messages of self pity and paranoia with the bigger conspiracy in mind.
Why is that for games, but not if you go shopping for clothes or something else? You wont walk into every shop telling people to stop selling stuff because you dont like it right? Enjoy the games you do like, leave the games you dont like. It is as simple as that. Telling everyone to not enjoy sometihng and that they are stupid for doing so, well, who cares, it is only one opinion?

None of that is in response to anything I said. Quote where I guilt tripped anyone for enjoying a game, or 'told' them not to enjoy it
I have been playing Pathfinder for ~6 hours a day for the past two weeks, why would I stop playing games altogether because another developer has released broken junk? I spent ~90 seconds writing a forum post about it, I guess I better give up the hobby then! Do you realise how dumb that sounds?

Glad to see that the breeki-Life wasn't just some mythological beast here but it does exist/can be implemented (albeit gradually), it very much is part of the minimum requirements for a STALKER game and the silly release last month was scary in that regard.
Now the real struggle will be trying to resist the temptation of downloading the game before it's fully fixed, only an overdose of psy-blocks can prevent that (the patches' ginormous size definitely helps as well). May the Road to ̶2̶.̶0 1.0 be swift

Yeah they really should have waited with the release. Like Inter said, a patch that fixes 1800 bugs really proves that the game is still in very early access. Even though I had fun in my first playthrough, it could have been so much better.

Everyone knew it was going to be exceptionally rough in terms of polish and performance, still, the complete absence of A-Life was honestly the worst-case scenario - it's as if a driving sim was released without any physics or a grand strategy game without any economy/reactive AI. At least with the recent update, we can tell that the game has the potential to be genuinely great in the future, which is comforting. Starfield for instance will never have such a privilege

But don't then turn around and say "you guys can only complain about it this much/in only this way" then.

no no please complain to your heart's desire!
they should've just released it as "EA" not advertising it as a finished game which it was/is clearly not

Inverted mouse... wow, how tiresome to be used to that. Does even all games support that these days? So glad i sticked to what's considered the standard.
