That's not realistic even the most beautiful models in the world will look like shit in some situations.

At the end of the day is what the actor / person 'exudes' or inspires. She doesn't have to be a model or Miss Universe!
It's that certain "je ne sais quois" that will attract you and that can mean A LOT of things. As an example - in my case: Sigourney Weaver (my favorite actress of all times - and she was NOT a beauty model).
The problem with these... MODERN, FUGLY characters is that THEY LACK FUCKING CHARISMA, THEY LACK MYSTERY, THEY LACK UNIQUENESS or PERSONALITY, and they don't tingle your senses in a good, nice way...
