Great show, slow start but it got much better later on. However, I didn’t like the ending. They should have pulled together. Shiv changing her mind like that last minute didn’t make any sense at all.
I had the show sitting menacingly in the backlog while threatening me with lots of "uh-huh. But what are the optics here", "what's the temperature, nut nut?" and "buckle up fucklehead" so there was no reason for me to delay the watch any longer. It is, in fact, quality television, though not in a conventional way since the viewer isn't supposed to sympathize with any of the main characters - the show is intended as a human zoo full of dysfunctional, narcissistic, unempathetic backstabbing knobs to watch and follow from afar while holding the big popcorn bucket
The signature orchestral music and the tight pacing complement the first-class (over)acting with all the specific mannerisms, the pseudo-furbished corpo lingo and slimy tactics, it's satirical yet scarily close to reality. It's a mad rollercoaster where there's character development until something else pops up and the system, somehow, hilariously resets to factory settings whilst new setbacks make it sway like a jenga tower. Skarsgard's addition in S03 is very fitting, spicing things up further and boosting the unpredictability effect/general Roydrama. Basically, the whole story exists in function to its ending and the writer(s) nailed that.

it looked like something straight from succession, it had all the ingredients down to the music and looks with great actors and location, and looked like one of those retreat episodes where all of the characters were on some resort and that were some of the best tv, but sadly this was not good, an exploration of tech bros like mathison which wasnt enough time to explore in the last season but felt like watching kendal talking to himself on full meltdown for 2h, i guess that was the intent
