EVIL DEAD BURN: Sébastien Vaniček’s New EVIL DEAD Movie Coming In 2026
The standalone story is one of two brand new EVIL DEAD movies in the works.

The fifth entry into the Evil Dead franchise from director Sébastien Vaniçek (Infested) is officially titled Evil Dead Burn, with a 2026 release via Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert’s Ghost House Pictures.

Evil Dead Burn will be the latest in the Evil Dead franchise following the massive success of Lee Cronin‘s Evil Dead Rise last year, which also had Ghost House Pictures behind it, as did Fedé Alvarez's 2013 Evil Dead remake.

Next to nothing is known about Evil Dead Burn at the time of writing, except that Vaniçek has split writing duties once again with Infested‘s Florent Bernard. The pair shared a joint Instagram post (seen below) teasing the news.

This looks worrying. It reminds me of what happened to the Hellraiser franchise with directors/producers that turned it into a joke.

Second half of Infested was stupid as fuck. Overrated movie imo.
