Why would you give 7.5 to this trainwreck of a game?
Are you really considering these graphics to be 8/10? The animations in your own video are subpar. The textures quality is comparable to games that are almost a decade old.
How good can the story of this game be if it has dialogues like the ones you posted in that video to warrant a 7/10?
It's 60 euro supposed to be a good price for this?
So the english version uses inclusive language, like they/them, right? Well, that's nothing compared to what they did to the German localized version of the game.
In this forum post (https://maniac-forum.de/forum/pxmboard.php?mode=message&brdid=1&msgid=5422479), the project manager for all localization brags about how he and his team applied fully gendered German language to the game, both in written and spoken text. What this means? Let me explain:
There is no singular "they" in German. So what the German localization team did was to use so-called "neo pronouns", pronouns that didnt really exist until trans-activists made them up. So now the game is full of the neo pronoun "hen/hem" and at the end of nouns there is an "-e" attached (imagine in English there's a guard, then with German gendering, it'd be "guarde". And if that wasn't enough, they're also using stuff like the gender star * and the double point :.
Heres an example if this were applied to English:
"Hen is a capable fightere, but the leader*ess of the troupe is not a reasonable person:ess."
No option to turn this off. A hundred million dollar project self-sabotaged by political activism. Reminder: The vast majority of German citizen is against this sort of language. There was zero need for it. But EA let it happen anyway. As a German, the worst part of this is that I have no hope for Mass Effect 5 now ...

if you read the forum post you linked it's even worse
the game apparently explains these gender shenanigans rather late in the story. this means players might wonder wtf is wrong with the dialogues bc no-fucking-body has ever heard of said "neo-pronouns"
so for added comedy switch to GER translation -- this game sure keeps delivering

This is so utterly miserable that we've gone beyond parody/memes and reached the point where a bittersweet sense of 💀 is surpassing the genuine amusement
All I can do is hope that actual gaemers will resist being bottom-feeders and reject the "game" (or whatever proxy entity it identifies with ). We'll see tomorrow how the Wels catfish will react.
Well since this is on the steam global top sellers we can expect more daring games like these from now on.
We'll maybe arrive at a point where this will be the norm.

I'd love the RPG option to refuse using their pronouns, but if that choice existed in this game, my character would likely become a vile, isolated figure, abandoned by all companions for the ultimate offense. Like Swarm-that-walks from WOTR.
