You should have figured out by now that instead of spamming every thread, you could have been making a damn signature with multiple rows / columns / links / updated info that includes not only your latest videos, but also links to your games / playlists with walkthroughs.
And that would be much more:

- elegant
- informative
- practical
- non intrusive
- better managed
- respectful

Don't see nothing wrong with Sin317 posting his videos. In every thread there is someone posting videos almost every 10th post from some different youtuber (some pretty cancerous I wish I never heard about ). Of course he doesn't earn anything from us because there aren't more than 5 people online here at the same time. Laughing But still better than some people here who only post a single emote or just quote others without contributing anything to discussions. Rolling Eyes

Oh wow, the spidertron is a god damned beast. It has a huge mod compartment, it can fit a fuision reactor, 4 MK2 batteries and 9 laser turrets. I set the biters to have rather big bases.

And with that setup I level those bases in 10-20 seconds and barely take 25-50% damage (and I could be better at it if I at least tried to dodge spitter acid).

And since it's automated if I'm not driving it, when I pop out for some repairs it will auto shoot down biters if they stray too close.

This is some serious War of the Worlds type shit. And this time, we are the Martians, and the tripods are giant robot spiders. Very Happy

From what I've seen on yutub, filling it up with missiles makes nigh invulnerable.

haha, I used to make huge walls of fire (flamethrowers) and added line by line with blueprints and drones, advancing towards the enemy. It was glorious ^^

Belts will stick to the line based on their orientation when drag-building them. So Much Win

Spidertrons will move their legs out of the way if they block a ghost iamge (will also avoid stepping on rails, but that's just a cosmetic change).

Power pole connections are saved in blueprints. No more awkward connections by bots, just the pure ordered grid you copied in the first place. So Much Win

I like DSP, but it's too trivial for now.


Yes, DSP is good looking, fun and all, but for real hardcore factorio fans is just too simple overall. It's good for quick playthrough, but factorio with SE mod is just on another level... As always modders have made factorio so much better game. And SE in particular is not only about logistics and math, but it's about real puzzle challenges at the endgame.
Wish i had friend to play that in coop mode Smile Cause alone it might be overkill

Installed it and started playing. It's like a total overhaul mod, i.e. it uses many other mods that change gameplay quite a bit.

It's like experiencing the game all over again Smile

And yeah, DSP is too easy right now.

I never even tried this but just saw they are starting a "big expansion pack". Also interesting numbers and they are looking for some new staff members.

While i usually agree on game expansions cause they bring new content, new challenges and so on. But in this particular case, dunno if it's a good way to go cause modders elevated this game to unimaginable heights. Looks at those space exploration or krastorio 2 mods for example. These single two mods change game perception to a different level. You can easily play vanilla game and enjoy, you can add quality mods and enjoy game in a new way or you can add total overhaul mods and experience ultimate challenge. And you don't even need expansion for that. Those mods bring all - new textures, new mechanics, new challenges, new puzzles, new endgame. Ofc for a developer it's a dead end.

For example Grinding Gear Games hired a lot of talented users which brought useful tools for Path of Exile. Let's hope Wube will hire Earendel (developer of SE mod) and other talented mod developers so they could increase depth of factorio Smile
