Every footage i've seen the attacks especially melee have such long drawn out animations with flourishes etc that don't make sense in an ARPG. Gives me strong bullshot vibes
That's not bull, it's how this game is being designed. It's slower and presumably, more tactical, I guess. I am actually happy it's not a "clear the screen in 0.0000001 seconds" type of "game" again.
You can have slower methodical combat without annoying attack animations. It's not binary. Reminds me of Witcher2 and 3 where Geralt randomly does a pirouette when you don't want him to and breaks the flow of combat. I think it's just added for wow factor for the presentations and won't be in the final game tbh
I wonder how its gonna look with more "meta" builds though, since that is usually always a clutterfest.
But yeah it looks really good, and even cutscenes.
Access via buying a supporter pack or by meeting a lifetime support threshold in Path of Exile. Something similar was to Fall of Oriath, the threshold was $500.
They'll have a stream detailing this at the start of November.
It's sad if you didn't notice we're just fucking around.
That being said, paying 30 bucks for a FREE-to-play game is still 30 bucks too much.
Then wait for the free to play release.
It's hilarious that nobody was making a fuss when D4, a 70 euro game, asked 20 euro more for early access where the progression was saved.
An expensive to make free to play game has a paid early access from which the progression won't carry over to the full release. It's the end of the world!!
