Grr the game is skippy for me on almost any rez I've got a p4 2.4 and a gig of ram and a geforce 6600gt, anyone else getting this problem?

Also wtf? Only in stereo? Wheres the surround option?

Otherwise this game is truly goddamned amazing, the scripted parts kinda suck but the way it draws you in with the astmosphere and the "mental" effects that distort the gfx all of it makes it an incredible game, bollocks to anyone who thinks it sucks.

I need a save game for Dangerous Voyage chapter. Someone message me please.

I'm begging here, I kept overwriting my save games and I saved the game just as I was about to die and I cannot save myself. So I either have to replay the whole game over again or grab someone's save game.

If the writer of this article thinks Dark Corners of the Earth is the best Lovecraft adaptation, he hasn't read many of Lovecraft's stories.

As far as games go?
This and prisoner of ice are the best. I've still not played new cthulhu game

So what's the best adaptation according to you?

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

How is Shadow of the Comet?

Considering 60-70% of Dark Corners of the Earth is spent shooting monsters, including battles where you kill Dagon and Mother Hydra, I would say this is one of the worst interpretations. It started really well by copying most of the action from Shadow over Innsmouth. But as soon as devs added stuff of their own, everything was ruined. I liked the game, but it's far from the adaptation Lovecraft's work deserves.

I'm not sure there is even one, I'll probably go with Bloodborne, but not for the reasons I would like. The new CoC did a few things right, but the low budget is holding the game back. Sunless Sea had a cool approach. WoW did a good job with the Old Gods during its early years, but that has turned to dust with the latest expansions.
It's hard to put the concept into a video game, board games do it much better.

"Prisoner of ice" is the Sequel to "The Shadow of the Comet"

both games are fantastic if you ask me ... some people did not liked "The Shadow of the Comet" for its non-linear story structure ... to me it made this game shine , then "Prisoner of ice" that was more Script heavy ...

Done with Gigapixel AI I suspect. That has a weird propensity to add a lot of unwarranted green to its exported images, which a lot of these screenshots seem to show.
