Adding one of the pre-existing avatars does work indeed, my problem is when I actually want to use/upload a new one ('Upload Avatar from your machine' and/or 'Upload Avatar from a URL'). I was just curious since those functions used to work some time ago.
Sorry Frei if we're using you as our own based Guinea pig, but it's for science Cool Face

I know you talked to the admins and all but if nothing happens until tomorrow i Just open up a second Account if that is ok and approved by the mods. This site is pure cancer on my Phone, i need it back on the PC Very Happy

Its the best temp solution. Someone will help you as soon as they can. Seems like they have more pressing life-related things right now.

Thanks. Opened another Account but wont receive an Email after registration and also cant login. Just like with the other Account no error Massage.

Im sorry for annoying you guys. I will wait then since there Seems to be much more broken then Just my Accounts

I Dont get it. Its also Not a Gmail address this time like with the other Account.
Just tried to reset the password on the new Account, which works, so no error like on my Main Account, but also Here, no reset Email, Just like with the activation Mail. No Emails coming in.
Dont bother anymore, bet you got better Things to Do and only the admins can help anyway.
Just wanted To Tell so if the admins come they might fix other issues too.

No Problem.
I still wonder why it happens and how many other people are affected by this.
Two Accounts, one Just created two days ago (freeforest), two Different Emails (Gmail and Web.de) and its Happening on All Devices and browsers.
Tested it yesterday on the Smartphone with incognito Mode and same, nö login, no error Massage, no Emails send with Both Accounts.

Hope mrt can fix it then Sad

The worst problem are the annoying spam filters that every email provider now has its making it almost impossible to deliver e-mail yahoo is the worst they do not even attempt to place it in the spam folder but rather just ban the delivery of it all together. Nowadays without some paid smtp service that has a good reputation sending e-mails is almost an insurmountable task coupled with people not even checking their spam or junk folders and marking the message as "not spam" make things even more difficult as there isn't anything that I can do about it.

well, choose your email provider wisely...
As far as i know email´s like, disroot.org and Protonmail do not block emails..

Anyone who is using googlemail, yahoo, gmx or web.de etc, well its theyr own fault for using them in the first place..

well i got web.de only for spam mails, so i don't care that much when it doesn't work there.
but mrt fixed my main account and i get emails to this gmail account again too.
with pm notifications and all.
