There was an update to fix the CPU heating issue. I installed it on my yarr and it performance noticeably better.
I finished the SP as well and it is a game that brings back a lot of stuff that's been missing from the gaming space: manly men brother bears going AAARRGGHH. Simple as
Awesome visuals and melodrama. An overall good time and I like that the devs didnt go the always online denuvo route, allowing you to play the "coop" missions offline as well. Tho they aren't much to write home about.
Nice, was hoping this would be continued at some point the way the first game ended.
Good to hear some nice positive things about the game too although the lack of adjustable FOV and not having HDR is a bit of a drawback though even these days support is still a tad varied as is the implementation when it is supported.
Might pick it up at some point in the near future, as usual real life and economics but there's still some room for gaming even if it has lessened a bit compared to prior years.
Boltgunner was a nice rush but not quite the same and the mega massive labyrinthian maps made some of the trekking a bit dull or you just got confusingly lost with no immediate tells as to where to go or where you even where.
20mm explosive bolt ammo, clunky yet highly effective chainsword and armor including 1980's sized shoulder pads but fuck the helmet, for reasons.
Add the goofy yet lovable violent Orks and the cartoon villain evil Chaos factions and what is not to love. ~
Plus whatever surprises might be found in this sequel, first game did a pretty good job so more of the same isn't bad but hopefully there's some nice new surprises too.
I finished it yesterday and it was a great 40k game.
Great visuals and sound design, good enough story, enjoyable gameplay and full of epic moments. The performance could be better and the transition to cutscenes looks a bit amateurish.
There's a lot of room to give the game the longevity it deservers. New missions, weapons, classes and enemies would be a start.
The PvP is also fun, but clearly undercooked.
I don't get the complaints about the length of the game. There is a prologue, 5 standard missions that take about an hour each and a final epic mission comprised of 3 missions. The operations are also part of the story and they show what happens with the other squads. They are not an afterthought as they are narratively driven and have unique encounters that you won't see in Titus's campaign.
Overall, I'm very happy with the game and I'll continue playing the multiplayer while waiting for more content.
How's multiplayer now? Steam posts have been saying they've had trouble connecting. Planning on playing with my brother, but if netcode isn't good, guess I'll wait for a patch.
The funny thing is that it's not just a few games pushing agendas, it's the whole western game industry. How has that happened and how is no one actually talking about the mindset about everything. It's all under wraps and full of gaslighting.

How are you complaining about this 24/7 and haven't figured it out yet? If the idiots from both sides are fighting, then there won't be many left to contest the real issues. So yea, keep fighting about gender politics because that's the real problem...
You keep spamming every fucking thread about this. But how many Blizzard games have you bought recently? How many games from Ubisoft or similar studios? Weren't you the one wanting to get an EA subscription to play Veilguard? You won't stop polluting every thread about social politics and woke while continuously giving money to these companies.

You thnk i give a shit about your whining about my complaints?
I usually agree 100% with you Stormwolf. (often in silence). But I really don't understand how you wanna play Veilguard that goes against everything you believe in.
Ehh, i don't see how it's any worse than any other AAA production these days. They're all infested with bullshit. This is just more disappointing due to being DA
