Well here you go guys I made a small readme-fix if you have any problems with the game:

+ I can't connect to any server! (This copy of RO: Ostrfont is not compatible blabla)
- Make sure SteamApp.cfg is correctly editted + SteamAppId must be 1200

+ I get Debug Assertion Failure error when starting game
- Your SteamApp.cfg isn't properly editted

+ When I try to connect to a server it says Connection Failed!!!
- Make sure you run Steam first and then run the game & ofcourse make sure SteamApp.cfg is correct...

+ Make sure you are playing the retail version and not beta
- lol you must be stupid if you tried this on the beta Razz

Note: Most problems have to do with SteamApp.cfg

yeah, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. You have to try a couple of times before you can connect and play. It's annoying, but I personally think this game is worth the extra wait.

AMD64 and 6600GT, no problems here. Just can't connect to servers tonight, it was fine last night and changing the value to 1200 makes no difference. I guess they've released an update.

Some servers do let in, probably hosted by someone using this release. You just have to keep clicking. Smile

- This game is shit, it has alot of bugs

:] just deleted this piece of shit.. and even if it was working right.. almost all servers are empty, this game didn't sell very well.

This mod should have stayed free. The mod team just humiliated themselves by trying to sell it through Steam.

Still the same shit mate. Just a port with a few tweaks by the same mod team. Get my point?

nope i don't get it. the game has been rebuilt from scratch, probably u never played red orchestra to notice how much this is different.
and yes, ro is not for cs players... realism is the key word here

I played Red Orchestra a couple of years back, and this ain't THAT different. Point is, why bring something running as old as on UE2x and try to sell it today? That is just humiliating for the RO team.

Dude, I know this game is about realism, so don't try to compare me to cs players, I have never played cs in my life.
