So when i was at work trying to concentrate i got a call from a phone company and being half awake i apparently signed up for a new phone. Which is good as my old one is shitty - anyway, i signed up for a Google Pixel 9 Pro.
Once i hanged up, i started to think about it. I know exactly NOTHING about Google Pixar 9 pro or any other phone for that matter.
So was it a stupid thing or are those phones any good? The reviews I saw was positive, but do anyone of you lot have experience with one?
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

AFAIK (take it with a grain of salt as I don't do much more gadget reviews reading anymore) this is a mid-range smartphone with a good OLED screen and one of the best cameras on the market.

There is one thing that confuse me about the phone though, its brand new and still they went for the current android version rather than the one they recently showed off? Perhaps it will be possible to upgrade to the latest once its released?

well that far it sounds great imo

Also, Pixels sport arguably the best (AI-enhanced) cameras on the smartphone market (except for video recording where Iphone is still king).
Now if you use your phone for 3D gaming, or if you need to have top-class battery life, stay away from these phones. For pretty much the same price you can get substantially more powerful hardware (CPU/GPU) and much better battery life from Samsung Galaxy or OnePlus, just to name 2 alternative brands. Next year this could change as Pixel 10 will be ditching the Exynos-based chip for the latest Qualcomm processor. Personally, if the reviews are good I'm planning to make the switch. |
I don't play on my phone, so that sounds ok imo.
Edit: Cheers for reply boys, im always worried when i get new phones as i have a tendency to pick the wrong ones. I never liked iphones so those are always a no-no for me, i once got myself a Marshall some years ago but tbh it was nice with the 2 sound ports on it...and the look of the phone was nice - but it was crap other than that ive tried to stick to samsung as i do like android.

This year Google released their new flagship phones way sooner than usual, Android 15 is still beta and the stable release should be coming in October. Pixel phones (6,7,8,9) should be the first devices to get it (with the Pixel skin and customizations on top of it).
