No u faggit! I think I read somewhere that they were aiming for a 70's aesthetic, hence the hairdo. Though to be honest, it looks more 80's that 70's to me maybe a mix of both.
yes but that ponny tail dosent scream 70-80, and also there has been normal styles back then too...even princess leia had some normal looking ones
that hair style just dosent fit that face, like in some movies when the hair department made a character look other than something that character would wear

The actress looks nothing like this in-game thing. The nose, the mouth, the chin, the hair color, the eyebrows... Only thing in common is the brown eyes. Dafuk did she agree to be changed that much.

They could've actually hired the actress who played Aloy in Horizon, whose face was also butchered, but in real looks very close to this Star Wars Outlaws model

If there's something good to say, i like the main voice actress, nice voice that i don't think would get on my nerves. The Horizon chick i like a lot less, there's something demeaning in her voice that, well, gets on my nerves after a while. This voice actress sounds cocky and cute at the same time, i like it
The issue isn't just she's ugly, she doesn't even look human, terrible 3D model and design.
You know, strong and independent female players need to be taken care of. This protagonist is also a shield from the male gaze and she has to be uglier than the ugliest strong, independent female player. Also fuck those CIS perverts.
Imagine being that poor model. She goes into it excited over the moon to land a role in a "triple A" game that will be played by millions (and Star Wars no less!), only to have them pull that shit on your face. I'm sure the money helps take the sting out a bit, but she's still probably fucking pissed.
