people should fight back against psn account because it's pretty obvious sony will try to force pc players to buy PS+ eventually if you can't see that you're actually dumb
No way to fight against it. The majority of people can't help themselves and will give up whatever ideals they have as soon as they release something they like. You can make as much of a fuss as you want and it won't change anything. Not even all the Helldivers bs did anything, and people were fooled and took back their reviews for a worthless tweet.
Yeah, the only thing that'll happen is that you and a few others will miss out on a great game while the rest have a blast and Sony laughing their way to the bank
Combat is mostly better in this one (more enemy variety and while you lose your fists/shield as a weapon, there's a pretty neat weapon you get later on) but still has the same annoying narrow FOV and constant colored lights flashing at you to let you know when you're about to be hit by a projectile that you can't see because of aforementioned narrow FOV.
I see. So I will definitly pass this one. Thanks for the headsup.

I mean, MS already tried it with GFWL and we know how that went Nobody on PC will pay for playing multiplayer.
What happened decades ago is not very relevant today. Companies just have to weather a bit of negativity and people will come around in a while, just like every negative thing that has happened to gaming.

Never going to happen for an open ecosystem like the PC

Imo stormwolf is right!
I remember when i was quite young in germany teenagers would shit on games with great graphics and bad gameplay and would call them "grafikblender" which roughly translates to graphics blinder meaning a game that tries to make up for it's shit gameplay/story with it's graphics. Nowadays it's the norm. The bar is getting lower and lower and people even defend crap games nowadays.
People have been trained from a young age now to be pr pawns for the big companies and identify as part of their "tribe". Having that us vs them mentality, so they feel insulted when anyone attacks x game or company and they feel the need to implement mental gymnastics to defend them. It's just disgusting.
Everyone is also brainwashed to be a consumer and waste money on stupidly overpriced skins and in game items that 20 years ago would cause a riot if they were even hinted at being implemented. Mobile games especially are a hellhole of predatory monetization, and unfortunately the PC isn't that far behind these days.
So a monthly payment to play online.. ha, people will accept that these days. There will be some noise at the start, but it won't last and they'll give "concessions". Start with a horrible plan and then go down to the actual plan once people complain, just to make it seem like something was achieved.
I can't even buy the frigging game coz of PSN crap
Can be circumvented by buying key. Atleast in EU as the baltics cant buy directly from steam but EU keys will work. Did so with Ghost of Tsushima. Once you have the game then 0 issues as I have PSN account, it let me link and all the overlay and everything is fine. Just the possibility of purchasing directly from Steam has been blocked.

Just can't wait to pass that blast
