Before going out and buying a bunch of DVD-RW's I was wondering how i can determine whether my CD/DVD drive supports DVD-RW?

My drive is: NEC DVD+RW ND-2100AD

If you use Nero start it up and then click on the recorder tab and then on choose recorder and it should tell you what disc types your dvd writer takes.

what exactly is the difference b/w DVD+RW and DVD-RW?

DVD-RW is supposed to be more compatable with older dvd players

Install nero start nero toolkit/InfoTool.exe this should tell you all info you need //moving to hardware between
