Might work better than the last two, but at this point I don't really care about the franchise. Scott is a retard, and as long as he's remotely associated there's a high chance every movie will be disappointing.

It looks like something a pseudo-advanced AI would generate if asked "remake Alien using YA-friendly actors and the same original blueprint. The editing must be an amalgamation of every single horror movie released in the past 20 years"
It could be ok in the same way Prey was ok. I suspect this one will be really thin on plot, maybe 15 mins establish gen-z crew, 70mins special effects monster movie, airlock scene, the end.
As for the Director, he's competent, I liked Don't Breath, Nu-Evil Dead was ok.
