if this was available on steam now id buy it but of course the long arduous wait of doom ensues... and if a pirate release works fully via clone then why would I then buy it... unless there becomes some funky steam achievements of course, i do like my steam achievements lol

Well, it unlocks on steam in 2 hours.
Either way, not much longer for me.

It aint nearly as beautiful as other big-island games like The Hunter, but i dont care =)
Beautiful in its own way, and its a realistic military shooter! I hope the gameplay is as omg as i hope it is =)
Pwn those shitty ArmA devs out of the water! You cant release a buggy unfinished unpolished game in these days and expect to get away with it on top.

I found the performance issues utterly unacceptable, myself. They prevented me from even getting to the bugs.

+ not sure which games exactly look better than arma2? crysis? arma2 graphics are great and i'm sorry to hear that a 7xxx graphics card can't handle it

You can gift it but it will not unlock on the EU users account if he bought it himself or was gifted it from an 'unlocked' region. I'm 98.5% sure of that anyway
