from what i understand this game is directed towards fans of the movies.
the car handling obviously isnt good, but the missions itself seems pretty good. you get the role as a standbyer and get to be involved in the movie plot sometimes. like when planting the gun in the bathroom for example, or see the don get wacked from frontseat, etc.

... it's not extremely bad.. but the graphics and control totally suck.. and the shooting is just HARD.. like aiming for the head and all that are hard.. and the cursor moves to slow at those times.. the sound has some little problems.. but.. a mediocre game..

game dosent work , direct X error , even tryed to rebuild the image without the direct x folder and the direct X execute command in the autorun.ini and still the same. XnukeX

For the directx problem (I had the same), set it to Windows 2k compatabity.
And about the game, played it for half an hour or so, and the graphics aren't really bad, the faces are very nice done, and the rest isn't SO bad either. It can always be better, but with everything maxed up, its still nice.
The car controls are nothing, with maximum speed you can make a 90 degrees turn easily, but still, its a nice game 
PC: Yes. Console: No.

played it at 1600x1200 with AA on the fullest and it still looks just "ok"
About the game:
The people act like robots. People drive like robots aswell ( try to use the horn... you will rofl )
the fightsys is the worst ever. The shootings are bit fake. The police cant do shit... I can kill 324234523 people and they never can catch you.
I have seen better car crashes in mafia from few years ago.
I give the game from scale 1-10 : 6
But I will def play it just because I love the godfather

damn, EA... I hope EA sufficates and dies... they ruined another game that should have been great.
a game based on the godfather should have the greatest ever seen gfx, control system, sound, ect....
Just look at these textures... I saw better ingame gfx 3 years ago

Who Cares if the Gfx suck its the game play We are after. Damn people who is so Gfx addicted
what abaout Pure fun and Game play whit a solid Story doesent get anny better than that.
