South Park is finally going to Paramount+ in the U.S. Paramount Global’s streamer has reached an agreement with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone‘s company Park County on a five-year global licensing deal.
Watched it with the fam, it was meh. Not being cynical here, but felt...hollow? Like it was slapped together and they put their B writers on it to make the plot. They told them "Make fun of trump's penis" and they did exactly that. No SP wit, parody, or Satire.
It had no B plot, main plot didn't have any movement, like it was spending the whole episode to lead to a pinnacle that never happened.
Only thing I can assume is this isn't that last episode on this, but the whole episode was just to setup a premise so the audience knows they are going to keep doing this in next episodes to see how far paramount lets them go.
Or I hope thats what it is, because standing on its own it's pretty flat.

- Watching people my age grow from cynical youth who distrusts and dismisses the older generation, into cynical old people who distrusts and dismisses younger generations.
