The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, generally promoted and referred to as simply The Jinx, is a 2015 HBO documentary miniseries about Robert Durst, written by Andrew Jarecki, Marc Smerling, and Zachary Stuart-Pontier. The series was also directed by Jarecki, who previously directed All Good Things (2010), which was inspired by the life of Durst.
Anyone watch this yet? Started the other day and it's fantastic (on episode 3 now). I haven't been following the news stories at all, and had no idea about who Robert Durst was or what he had done/was accused/suspected of doing...
I must say, this is one of the best and most interesting documentaries I have seen. I would highly recommend some of you guys watch this, if you are into documentaries or unsolved mysteries of course.

Ya it was great. Afterwards we saw the movie and then had to read even more.
But it did not help my opinion of the series that its pretty cooked together.
And really didnt like how they sat on that information waiting for it to be picked up (side note director Jarecki is suppose to be Durst rich).
There are two kinds of people I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.
Also just finished the last episode today, holy shit....
Spoiler:
And Durst is now awaiting trial again for the Susan Berman murder I assume that has something to do with the letter they found that had "Beverley" misspelled and the way he was talking to himself during the last moments of the documentary..

Yeah the ending was so intense wtf, i also never heard of this guy and his murders before so this whole documentary was really refreshing and it was kinda hard to grasp this guy is only caught for 2 weeks now.
lol the whole reason why he got caught was why this doc got so much exposure.
they did media rounds talking about the whole thing before the show even aired.
purdy fucked up.
I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?
Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!
2015? Jesus. i remember seeing it when it was new and i loved it, really disturbing. If someone asked i would've said it probably came out in 2018-2019.
THE docu series that started the big trend of all other serial killers docu series, watching this when it aired was a big thing, was like a big event with every new episode each week
cant wait to see what else new they found and behind the scene things of how things unfolded after that shocking twist at the end
you should remember from season 1 that he pretty much confessed (with a hot mic) to killing 3 people.
Season 2 is about the capture of him and bringing the case to court.
