The interview asked about when Sapkowski visited the set of the Witcher Netflix show. Sapkowski initially replied with enthusiasm, but then joked about how little influence he felt he had on the show. "The set was tremendous...I gave them some ideas but they never listened to me," he said, "It's normal. Who's this? It's a writer. It's nobody."
When asked whether any of the various adaptations captured what Sapkowski imagined, he said, "every adaptation that I saw was strange for me...sometimes it's very nice for me...sometimes it isn't. I will not elaborate." Sapkowski also said he is working on another Witcher book that will be released next winter. When asked whether he plays video games Sapkowski replied, "Never. I have no time for this."
We're heading back to The Continent. The Witcher Season 4 is officially in production. And Season 5 is coming to bring this epic series to a fitting conclusion.
It's funny the top comment on that video just says The Switcher. You do not even need to bother watching it since the still shows you as much as the sneak peek.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Whether it's Cavill or Hemsworth doesn't change that the writing is intolerable though.. I stopped start S3 don't plan on revisiting, the shows been weak on writing all the way through too.
