The No one's ever really gone effect was just too enticing to pass by, haha. I'm curious about this, don't really care for the genre but with Deadpool and a limited selection of anti-not-so-super heroes I can make an exception. The long wait is long, though.
I'm interested simply because I want more R-Rated Wolverine action. No more PG-13 shit where he hits people with claws that can cut through virtually anything and they go flying like they were hit with a blunt weapon.
Give me this (1:18 is just )
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
New Deadpool 3 set photos have revealed what Ryan Reynolds’s costume will look like in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.
This superhero movie will be the third film in the Deadpool series, which will officially see the integration of more X-Men characters into the MCU. Reynolds will return to his iconic role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
The movie will also see the returns of more familiar faces, such as Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shioli Kitsuna as Yukio, and Stefan Kapičić as Colossus.
This looks good. And will probably watch it. I feel it is pigeonholing the franchise from Deadpool, to Ryan Reynolds single persona acting range = Deadpool.
Not that it isn't entertaining to watch what is basically Ryan Reynolds and his 'personality' in a Deadpool outfit. It's done so, so much that any of the more depth and breadth of character Deadpool has in the comics is not going to happen.
Dont get me wrong, not shitting on the movies, and excited to see this one. But its excited to see Ryan be himself dressed as Deadpool. And less for actual Deadpool.
As I think the peak nuance and character depth of Deadpool we can ever get using "All Ryan's characters = Ryan being himself'" has hit a ceiling. And a bit disappointed in that the 'theme' has been set, and we will never see any of the actual meat and potatoes of what makes Deadpool comics so compelling (beyond the snark and 4th wall parts), a compelling Deadpool character.
Again, not that it isnt bad and I will watch it. Just was hoping for more of the depth of the comic would be in this one, but it still just "Ryan being Ryan, in a red suit".
But then again makes sense, I doubt the audience wants any of the other reasons people that read it want. Surface level 4th wall breaking, snarky funny, and slapstick Deadpool is what sells, and what they know.
