so it just came out that the story is the same as Fallout 3 (and Fallout 4)
gonna give it a watch anyways but it's funny how fo4 got critique for using the same story as FO3 and now the series is using the same story again, and i assume it's not exactly the same writers, yet it was all they could come up with.. or these writers looked at the two recent games and assume Fallout is always supposed to be about this, finding your dad?

b: the use or language of sarcasm
Bethesda fans probably will enjoyed it. It's very silly, everyone is infantile and a caricature of a real person. A lot of low brow humor.

For years there were rumors that they couldn't stand the success it had. If what I've read is true then I guess they weren't just rumors.
EDIT: Oh, guess this makes more sense then:
No NV retcon then... even though we're supposed to ignore not a single soldier/politician from the NCR mentioning that the Shady Sands was nuked to hell and back a few years ago

Yes it's very over the top and comic book-like. Still liked the first episode, at least it's not camp like True Blood, but I feel it could go that way quickly.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

3 episodes in so far and I kind of like it. Let's see what comes with next ones.
They have taken bits from F3 and F4 and at least one story element from F1. I enjoy the mixing and matching of different games stories but it also makes potential next seasons more prone for stupid writer-made-up storylines a la final season of GoT.
The chick is stupidly annoying but it makes sense considering her background.
I don't like the stupid theme of the Ghoul playing every time he is introduced to a scene. Why the fuck is this necessary?
Yep Ep.2 and I'm out. This is much worse than my lowest expectations for this show. What is with the Benny Hill slapstick stuff, the Power Armour looks worse than a PowerRangers monster and I don't think the ultra-violence fits.
Strangely enough, I was fine with the comic skit between the BOS Knight and the Yaoguai.
Maximus is the worst.
Well at least it's not as bad as that Gentlemen tv show that I also attempted to watch, but that one looked like their budget didn't allow them to hire more actors.
Dunno if I'll continue watching the show. Maybe if I'm drunk. I haven't drank any alcohol in years though
