I wanna see a movie about making of this movie Laughing

What surprises me most is that they rehired Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, last two movies (including Morbius from themselves) total office bombs, and then rehire again to do this turd

"Aquaman and bla bla bla" 2/10

Boring same old sh*t like all superhero movies nowadays. Only kind of good were some of the sp. effects but that's about it. Also the last line...really? Can't come up with anything and you steal sh*t and from Marvel? Pathetic.

Road House (2024) 7.5/10. Quite enjoyable and funny, preferably watch with a buddy or two and have a laugh. Obviously it's not a GOOD movie, as in Oscar material. It's stupid fun, good pacing some good jokes and i enjoyed the characters. They rarely make movies like this anymore.

It's very self aware, for example they knew the love interest is kind of garbage but "has to be there" so very little time is spent on it, it's not gonna annoy anyone. The movie is super, super predictable too (even if you didn't watch the original), but it's expected for a movie like this i think.

Pure garbage. McGregor can't act for shit, neither can Gyllenhaal, at least in this one.
Just rewatch the original.

Das Boot (DC): 8.5/10. Great movie. That ending. Watched the non-DC 20 years back or so, didn't remember too much about it anymore.
Troy: 6/10. Some really good bits, but a lot of bad bits as well. Pitts acting was atrocious in this one.
Local Hero: 3/10. Not worth it, almost nothing happened.

Oppie vs. The World - 8 Roentgens/10

A hollybuster that reasonably met my expectations by delivering the goods without additional doses of cringe or modern quirks, a true nuclear miracle. Nolan's quality editing and the omnipresent hectic music (an absolute must Very Happy) are the elements that give the movie the necessary rhythm to prevent it from turning into a slog, like a crescendo where nearly every single dialogue has a reason to exist. Cillian Murphy deservedly takes the winrar atom and so does RDJ, with the rest of the cast doing a rock-solid job as well. Not everything is perfect but it is a remarkable opus, more so when considering the people's general aversion to demanding films and their constant need for pew. It's time to replace the silly useless MCU and DCU with the NCU and let Nolan create his personal 20th-Century History Cinematic Universe.

Weakest in the series and some things that don't make sense.. but still have some of the series touch and it's moments.

An okay sci-fi thriller worth watching, esp. if you've run out of sci-fi thrillers in your to-watch queue.

Oppenheimer 8/10

Much better than Nolan's recent movies like Dunkirk and Tenet. Great actors and very well made movie in general. I wish we had more movies of this caliber.

Road House (2024) - 7/10

Jake was amazing as always. Conor McGregor on the other hand was cheeky as f. Smile The movie has some funny one-liners.

To Catch a Killer (2023) - 6/10

I expected more based on it's trailer but it ended up being quite forgettable movie. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either.

Spaceman - ZzzzzzZZzzzzzz.. I could only endure 36 minutes of this shit.

Childish garbage. No, i don't mean childish as in imaginative. The dialogue, plot, it's like its written by a 12 year old who think he's clever or that he knows something about the world or about people. Embarrassingly bad and just ridiculous.

Anatomy of a Fall : 8/10

It was very good, the atmosphere top-notch (albeit quite cliché, the mountainside does half the work by itself), the actors' performances were quite stellar.. all in all, it's easy to understand why it got Cannes' Palme d'or.
-2 because of some easy options/inconsistencies throughout the narrative, and I personally would have made the story end at some other alternative point.

Godzilla X Kong. CGI spectacle. Wouldn't have mind this if it was in 3D, i mean this would've been amazing for that, but noooo, let's not do that anymore. lol. freaking idiots. Why is it Godzilla X Kong. It should've been Army of Kongs or something, Baby Kong + Kong maybe. The CGI is also not great, i especially disliked baby Kong which looks very Disney'ish. The focus is maybe 5% on Godzilla.

Think Disney star wars scene where you had like 1000 people on horses riding on the star destroyer, but that's the entire movie - over-the-top spectacle. For kids this is probably great, one of my friend's kids said it was "one of his favorite movies of all time."

The native / tribe girl is terrible, i got so tired of looking at her "i'm taking a painful shit"-face. The humans overall was a big eyeroll.

4.5/10.

Oppenheimer - 6.5/10
Unpopular opinion, great acting and all but overall it was a movie about a guy that get mad at Oppy because Einstein didn't said hi to him. Chopped up and color coded for viewers so they would at least get the idea what was the remembrances and what was taking part in present aka the hearing.

Mission Impossible - the last one - 4.5/10
Too long, too gimmicky. Fucking knife/sword fight with an unarmed guy and not a single hit to him. Fall asleep in the last act woke up and they still were in the fucking train. Why action movies are like this right now?
