Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried’s upcoming murder mystery thriller series The Crowded Room. The story is set in 1970s New York City, and it follows a young man who is arrested for a shooting. Things get complicated when it’s revealed that he has memory issues and now all of a sudden we don’t know if he’s telling the truth or hiding something.
The Crowded Room follows Danny Sullivan (Holland), “a man who is arrested following his involvement in a shooting in New York City in 1979. A captivating thriller told through a series of interviews with curious interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), Danny's life story unfolds, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him, and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation.”
Unfortunately, reviews for “The Crowded Room” are overwhelmingly negative, with an almost unheard of 10% on Rotten Tomatoes (to put it in comparison, even the much-loathed “The Idol” is at 27%), and a 38/100 on Metacritic.
it is bad, great acting from holland but everyone else seems miscast, some weird camera work/ editing. just another series with big names but its shit from apple, they have a bunch of these..
My wife started watching it. It's called 'The Crowded Room", guy looks like Joker in prologue, something is off with his female friend.
Spoiler:
So I tell my wife he has some kind of multiple personality disorder. Check out wiki turns out I'm right.
So low level effort from the production stand point.

That was obvious right from the trailer and it's not really the secret of this series
