blizzard has lost most of its talent, all they have left is clever marketing guys who are squeezing the cows dry with loot crates and card packs and bonus cross game bundles. overwatch is gonna fail dramaticly , stocks will plummit. and if they have no new ip to announce at blizcon, they conquered themselves into the ground after they milk the last few dollars from shoddy remakes of their old games

Other than that, we really don’t know much about Blizzard’s new project. And, as you may have guessed, we strongly suggest tempering your expectations as it will not be revealed anytime soon. As it’s pretty obvious, Blizzard is currently in a pre-development state, so we are most likely looking at a 2020 game (that’s a mere guess but hey, this is Blizzard we’re talking about).
If it was Battle Royale, they could just make such mode in Overwatch, I think. And they say vehicle which can also include spaceships. As the space genre is getting reborn to new heights, they can make something good with it.
A lot of wrong information here. Let me correct you. David Brevik was not one of the founders of Blizzard, he was one the founders of Blizzard North (originally Condor), which was a separated studio subsidiary to Davidson & Associates former owner of Blizzard. He is the mind behind Diablo and Diablo II, which were developed at Blizzard North. The "4D chess" thing you suggest is complete nonsense. Greybeard Games is a one-man-strong development studio, that meaning David is developing independent games by himself, he is not a Blizzard competitor by any means. He is definitely not drunk and he is talking about something he is passionate about, I think you are missing the point.
Also the nonsense about overlapping positions. He is talking about two companies that merged ten fucking years ago. They didn't just suddenly realise they had some duplicate jobs.
I have less of a problem with some off-spin pet game on mobile than selling diablo mobile as canon. I even think the pet battle from WoW would be better served as mobile content.
Cut costs and ship more games hah sure that will go down well, then again Blizzard of now is not the same as Blizzard of then with multiple developers having been laid off or left.
Though it seems the latest WoW expansion didn't do as well as hoped and we'll see how this little mobile phone experience works out for them I guess and then Diablo 4 somewhere in the future and the remake of Warcraft three.
Wonder what this will lead to, guess there's also Rockstar with a similar development pace shipping games when they're done but they also have the online component which is probably making THQ hella happy with how well that worked out for GTA V and probably Red Dead Online too now.
Going forward, the Vicarious Visions team of about 200 people will be employees of Blizzard and "fully dedicated to existing Blizzard games and initiatives," which means the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 studio will no longer be creating games as the lead developer.

So basically if you bought a game/s before you have to agree or you are locked out of your account. So they can change the terms willy nilly just because they feel like it.
I'm not that knowledgeable in this aspect but shouldnt this be illegal (at least in EU).
You buy a car 3 years later the brand changes the user agreement and forces you to accept or else you cant use your car anymore.
