I finally got around to finishing this and I hold nothing back when I say it truly was a masterpiece. I don't know what Ubisoft's "we're not AAA" division is doing lately, but they really need to keep it up - their games are incredible. I didn't understand why everyone was going on about "teh feels" at first, but then... just... wow

I knew as soon as Emile was in jail that he was going to be executed, but being forced to walk him to the post? Hearing that hauntingly beautiful music? Seeing his family in his head while narrating his goodbye letter? That was one of the toughest things I've ever had to do in a game.
Finally found the time to play through this nice little game.
While it was predictable how the game would end, it still made me very sad and also a few tears dropped.
A very nice game with beautiful art.
