It's Just Cause with an Avatarish skin and it does the open world mindless action stuff good.
The open world looks great. Also, for me a huge plus, there is a good balance between side activities and main questing. Side activities are rewarding and fun for the most time and the game respects your time. It's not trying to give a lot of bullshit content for the sake of making the game longer like basicallly every other open world game out there.
Story sux though. Bad voice acting. And what doesn't help is that the Aliens only have 4 types. So you'll see the same 4 faces all over and often the NPC's with the same face be in a scene representing different characters. Even saw the fatso alien in a dress representing a woman Alien .
And there is some Yank. Movement can be weird. Cutscenes have anoying loading times making the allready not so enjoyable story even worse. Had a couple of CTD's and some quest bugs.
It's just fun to play. No GOTY, but good fun for an Isodemo or at a sale.
I've seen a lot of reviews that it's an ok, enjoyable game but with too much jank and performance issues to justify the price tag and if it was a $40 game they would recommend it.
