Sorry to steal your title Frant.
The last week I am having heart issues.
Sometimes it starts to bounce like crazy.
A couple of days ago while sleeping, I woke up and it was pounding like mad.
Today I had an opportunity to measure the heart rate: 179
I bought an oximeter back in 2020, covid.
Let's have another beer...

179 at rest? Jesus. Go see a doctor right away instead of a beer, you twat. A tachycardia can be from many, many reasons, from malformed electric pulses to blockage to infection to inflammation to lung deficiencies. But let’s get dnukr instead.

A month and a half ago I had fever and heartrate of 130+ (my watch notifies me when it’s above 100 at rest), and turned out I had deep neck infection and was hospitalized for a week in the ENT unit. I should have dnurked cognac instead

Vigorous exercise is like 160, mine at rest is like 65, 179 I don't know what that is, definitely see a doctor.

When I was exercising on an exercise bike, I used to keep 170 and above. It can still go there if I run on an incline. There is a formula for “safe” heart rate: 220 - <age in years>.
But at rest, that’s crazy.

@Immunity The 1st experience was while I was asleep. Can't remember a bad dream.
I've had a similar experience in the past (2020) also after a SARS2 infection, might not be related.
I called the ambulance service twice back then. The second call the operator told me that false claims are punishable by law.

You should really see a cardiologist to run some tests, it won't be a waste of time and it's not invasive at all.
Do you smoke cigarettes too ?

170 bpm at rest is a false claim? Tough crowd
With my infection, once they saw 130 while I was sitting, they put me immediately to lie down and called an ambulance at the medical facility. Sounds stupid to me to take risks.
