The fight was a good one but I hate Sean O'Mumble and he's a degenerate retard. Probably the only case in which I can't separate the art from the artist
Anyways:
- Great work by Poirier, but BSD was supposedly with the staph so ewwwww
- MVP just clowned Holland hard, he looked really lost in there
- JDM leveled up in his defense and had great finishing instinct in there
- Yan is back, but that was a scary start
- The most satisfying win of the night was IMO Blaydes, Almeida is boring as shit. Also, the clowns commenting were once again dismissing of those short shots to the side/back of the head when you get that position, just like with Pereira and Jiri.

Main event is okay, but IMO main card is weaker than 299. Co-main will be awesome, Max is looking really good for 155 this time and I believe he has a real chance against Gaethje.

I like UFC but come to accept it's 50/50 sport and entertainment, they cherry pick fights and protect assets as any company would. I hate that there is more and more WWE aspects coming to it but it seems to be what the viewers want.

But I agree, because for example titzzy will get another title shot at DDP but there's a story behind that one so okay. And besides, I think DDP will tank through his shots and wrestlefuck him to the ground several times

What a great card
- Turner's try at a highlight reel walk away KO only to get subbed by Moicano
- Diego Lopes bulldoziong through Yusuf (bonus point for causing emotional damage to tiddysanya, probably)
- Jiri autism-maxing his way to victory
- Max climbing that mountain that was gaethje in a legendary performance, so good that even Topuria looked depressed after that
- Pereira knocking out Hill's spark twice, taking barely any damage, wanting to fight at Brazil in a few weeks AND eventually at Heavyweight (critical hit against tiddysanya's ego, I love it)
Only letdown was Charles, but even then it was fairly close
A nice shakeup to the FW with Lopes now ranked AYUND Sterling in the top 10, Moicano is also pretty good on the mike and has potential for either title run or great fights in the future.
Not a fan of Jiri x Pereira 2, but Rakic - Hill would be interesting, really really interested in what Max does next at either division, but it's also there for him to take it in the LW division. Speaking of LW division, Oliveira - Gaethje 2? Gaethje - BSD? Oliveira - BSD? So many potential incredible fights, megusta
As for Poatan, hope he fights at 301 and sets that record, also he definitely has a nice future at HW but not as a champion IMO.
Not surprised with Max, dude never quits and he almost put Poirier away in the later rounds after weathering a beating last time at 155. Awesome fight.
Easy work for Poatan, it was kind of similar to Strickland KO. He throws to the body which hides the surprise death left hook. The guys a freak, started fighting much later than Adesanya, insane genetics and power, he cuts like 30-40 pounds.
All the guys with star power getting pretty old now. Poirier, Volk, Gathje, Adesanya, Poatan, Oliviera, Chandler etc all pushing 35 / retirement point.
Weak card overall.
Mathews did a good job, Kopylov also won that but he looked much more tired in the end than I remember in previous fights, rassle-rassle Kopylov is no bueno
Huge brazilian guy won but at least he got the fatty out of there quickly, Brown vs dosSantos was good but I'm not convinced by Brown just yet and those extended hands on your opponents face... yuck

Strickland Costa was boring as fuck and somehow a split decision??????? Would like to see him vs whoever wins Whittaker/Chimaev.
The Makh is just too good, even with that staph infection. He'll eat up tsarukian on the feet, gaethje will be rassle fucked, BSD or Oliveira 2 might prove competitive.
Or just feed him mccocaine, it would be great to see the makh toying with him for 5 rounds, maybe with a nice arm break in the last minute of the 5th

Pretty much summarizes it, one judges score on the the strickland/costa fight was insanity. I didn't think that fight was boring either. Strickland pressures 5 rounds, has solid defence and S tier poker face as his calf ate like 20 hard calf kicks, Costa just didn't have anything else for him.
Dustin / Mak was one of the better fights of the year, I didn't see the earlier fights.
New main event is Poatan vs Jiri 2, co-main is Diego Lopes vs Brian Ortega since hill is also out with a knee injury, Ullberg will now fight Anthony Smith.
Overall a much better card.
Also "keel everybady" (on twitter, of course) also pulled out, he's "ill"
So now my boy Whittaker will have to fight Ikram Aliskerov, which doesn't seem like it will be an easy fight at all but IMO he still has all the tools to win this one.
