My first thought is that it sounds like some mobile game that YouTubers use to sponsor their video
played a few hours and it's really good
amazing art, music, voice acting, as expected
reminds me of triangle strategy but the combat is obviously different, and you have more freedom to explore and choose what to do
there's a lot of things to keep track of with different unit types, squad setups, gear, and tactics (FFXII gambits essentially)
tons of stuff to find, unlock and upgrade, as well as building friendship with characters, quite satisfying to play
and the battles are deeper than I expected already
can't really speak to the story yet, it starts out pretty standard anime, but knowing vanillaware, it's probably gonna get pretty nuts later on
