Office 12 is the latest version of Microsoft's highly successful
productivity software. Microsoft have completely redesigned the
User Interface to allow much simpler and more sophisticated
interaction with the software. Office 12 also makes use of a variety
of new formats, including Open XML and the much used PDF format that
is finally making an appearance in Office.
This Build is a Technical Refresh (TR) released to beta testers as a
Refresh build to beta 1.

I'm an official tester and I'm really digging the new UI.
OpenOffice is many years behind in terms of usability. Being free isn't everything if your main characteristic is that you're a slow Office 95 clone.

the GUI looks promising...a bit getting used to I guess but it looks very very nice.

what is this "mars" images in the spoiler?? from a game?

I have I have just upgraded from Office 203 to this. No probs except with Outlook.
All my achieved messages are visible but all the newly received messages show up blank.
I have tried various settings to no avail. I am missing something simple? Do I need so sort of patch?
