I remember playing their previous game, Propnight, and getting that vibe
that game was not even half finished and they announced The Day Before
Simply because Propnight didn't end up being that big hit like they hoped it would be, the goal being a DBD clone with similar success
they mixed up the formula a couple of times hoping they would get that "hype" and player base, never happened
now this game. release footage of a promising concept that will never be delivered on, drumming up the marketing machine so as many people pre-order/buy the game and hopefully don't refund
similar to the snake juice merchants in the ol' days that would skip town once the jig was up
they started out with cutesie indie style games and are working their way up now, next game is probably gonna be the "next great" GTA or Witcher clone
a studio literally just trying to print money. basically a scam
These guys are going to be sitting on a mountain of money at the end of the week, right before they go away for a few years and pull the same shit again
Just asking myself the same question. What the fuck is the appeal of this scam zombie, never finished games?
Because it's always such mindless hype for this shit. Every single time there's a zombie survival open world announced...

b: the use or language of sarcasm
They made around $6.5 million so far. Probably not anything more. Almost 40k users yesterday. Multiplied that by 6, the lower end of the formula. Aproximately 235K copies. Take Valve's cut. 6.5 mill Nice con they managed here.
Isn't this the game that everyone said looked fake for scope and depth for the dev team size, the people making it was shady and vague during its development, and the footage and trailers was questionable and couldn't be fact checked?
And something about the company that made it kept releasing info about it the same time their shitty mobile games came out, as a way to side tangent get eyes on their mobile games? (or something like that)
I could be wrong, I feel like this is that game?
If so, why did people rush to buy a game that spent its entire time being made as shady and suspicious. Then act surprised when its not what was promised..when everyone said it's not going to be since it was announced?

Yea..I didn't follow the game at all, I forgot about this game (what little I knew) until I saw this thread.
I remember seeing a video about it on youtube I think many months ago and THINK it was about the general consensus of 'we call bullshit' on this game. but I could be wrong could have been another game.
I guess I could look it up to be sure, but not interested enough in the game to do that, so just asking here
Edit: Found the video figured Id try a few minutes to look for it, and got it quick:
Spoiler:
.
Never heard of the game before that video, and forgot about it until a few days ago here...so all I knew about it was that video I vaguely remember.

Can't decide who's more retarded: the derpelopers or the mongs that paid for this. I guess steam is not for consideration, since they'll make money on this either way, I think.

They usually take down games with the speed of light when there's too many refund requests. But maybe since it's an "Early Access" game they are more forgiving.
