Alternatively, there's also Flawlesswidescreen which has just added the AW2 Plugin with an FOV slider (as well as one for the LOD)
I'm still at the very beginning and basically only tested the performance for shits and giggles - as expected, the cutting-edge path-y rays are extremely taxing and maintaining >60fps with the i7-13700k/4070/32GB DDR5 is practically impossible. Standard raytracing is doable without murdering the framerate/frame pacing, though that sweet high framerate of the non-RT version is too enticing to pass up
The forest area at the beginning is the worst for performance, at least so far 12 hours in, so you should be able to get constant 60+ with everything on later.
This Alan Wake 2 Cult Stash has a math puzzle (and we all know how everyone hates math). Here's the math problem: "There are three batteries (B1, B2, and B3) which have a combined charge of 1,600 amps. B2 has 128 amps more than B3. Meanwhile, B1 has two times as much charge as B3. How many amps does B2 have?"
Yeah screw that Ain't got time to sit there thinking about that for long
Indeed, x+x+128+2x=1600 is a hell of a math problem
Literally solved it in my head when I encountered it.
I thought Scandinavian education system was decent?
You think with the type of stuff he posts he went to school?

Not really, no.
There's an area in Watery, more specifically a woodland space in the vicinity of Coffee World, where framerate drops significantly below 60 FPS.
Something's off there since GPU usage also drops in that area and performance hangs like there's a memory leak or something.

I think it got worse later due to events. Had to restart the game a couple of times due to degrading performance also.

Game definitely got it's rough edges. Ran across a few funny T posing bugs a few times, then memory leak would turn all textures into uber doober low res, like 1 color plane low res. Until I restart the game but nothing softlocking or game breaking so far.

The game costs around 30€ in Epic Store if you happen to have Turkish account. To my understanding random ccs might work regardless of them being out side Türkiye.

Well shiiieeet... Didin't know, man. Not my intention to spam (same) shit, obviously.
It's just the limitation of the forum (the way it works as platform / in comparison to a 4chan or /r thread, for example), as I doubt anyone's gonna run through countless pages just to check certain stuff out.
In any case, the more people know about this one, the better.
This game is not a deal. Epic paid it. Fully. And contracted Remedy to make it. There is no Alan Wake 2 existing if Epic didnt made it. It's fine to dislike Epic for their usual crap, but them producing an entire game from scratch is not one of those cases.

Agreed, but i spit on epics faces anyway, those cunts.
That god damn "concert" thing was a real bitch. Both kinda funny and forces you to abuse the flare gun or constantly get mobbed. Felt like a combat Arena meant for Control without Control's..well controls.

They give you a bunch of flare ammo for a reason, you're supposed to use them, it ain't abuse. The section is real easy if you're not trying to save up on them.
-The mix of Live Action scenes with 3D, including MF'ing Sam Lake doing it's MAX PAYNE face. Sam Lake tooked the cake in this game most of the time ... Perhaps the only thing worth here...
-The jumpscares, while weak, they were nicely placed somehow
-Some details here and there along the atmosphere
-The echoes's actings
Spoiler:
The TV show's musical, but again only for Sam Lake and Alan Wake's real actor dancing around and acting silly
THE BAD:
-The story itself misses a shit ton of stuff. The ending itself is awful. (Yes, i've skipped the credits to see if more happened and it did, but not much of what ya thought it'd be..)
Spoiler:
Why is Door (dark skinned TV showman) involved if he barely does a thing?.."You're being an idiot, Wake". Why does Scratch exists if Alan killed the old woman that trolled him, even tho he ended up captive in the Dark Place?..An enormous shame that the ending ends like "Nope, ya ain't escaping from this place and nobody knows what happens to the rest of MCs and relatives, etc"
-Inventory space, even with the upgrades, still limited.
-Sometimes lack of guidance or hints to unlock locks etc to progress on the story or the cult stashes' locks, etc. You gotta also assign the map and the flashlight into the front and back thumb buttons of the mouse to keep going with the action instead of searching for the key in the keyboard)
-The use of the flashlight's focus most of the times fails to aim to the enemy automaticly, forcing you to use 2 slots of a battery and being in danger from other surrounding enemies. Same is applied with the flying white spots to continue through a path
-Some sections from the episodes are too long and repetitive
Spoiler:
-Saga is a fucking magician knowing where to go in the mind palace without having people contact her directly face to face!... LOGIC!!...
MINOR STUFF:
-Atleast for the Spain's Spanish dub and texts version, sometimes voices played were in english, unsync'd subs, text differs from the voices A TON
Spoiler:
-Ahti, the cleaning guy from REMEDY's CONTROL, is doing a fucking cameo here too TOO MANY TIMES..While curious, he should stay in it's fucking universe...He only did ONE thing useful in ALAN WAKE 2
7/10. Would not touch again tho
