Had me freaking out as well.
Performance seems markedly improved on my poor GTX 1080 compared to the demo - runs fine on max details FSR 2 Quality 75%.
As a bonus, the puddles in this game have reflections that render just fine, and wouldn't you know it, RTX isn't necessary for that to be a feature!

Sure, but "just fine" isn't quite what RTX can do, though. There's a few rasterization methods to do reflections and all of them have compromises compared to RT.
