Apparently some of the cyberware upgrades are messed up in the comparison/preview screen.
When you actually buy / upgrade them the stat change should be reflected correctly. I had something similar where a blue tier cyberware was giving far more armor than its purple tier upgrade - which wasn't actually the case when slotted.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I was wondering what's the point of upgrading things if the stats stay the same. So it is a bug after all LAST PATCH GUYS ITS FIXED
other than that I am having fun replaying it after a few years. If only it was marketed for what it was at first there would be a lot less bad blood.
Sure as fuck beats BlandField anyday of the week in all departments
It's fine, just the cybernetics doing their job obviously...
Fortunately I've not encountered much of this type of bug. I have seen tons of blown up cop cars driving around, as a charred chassis. Also cars just disappearing and having the people inside t-pose mid air, stuff like that... But I've finally got to the Phantom Liberty bit so who knows what the new thing here will be...

The primary stats sure, but the secondary stats (+hp, melee damage, explosion resistance etc.) are actually bugged and can drop when you upgrade. I really only care about explosion damage for my build and my blue rarity blood pump goes from 5.9% to 2.5% if I were to upgrade it. And it's an actual blug and not just visual and also persists through reloads/restarts - I took it all the way to Tier 5++ and it was still less dmg.
I guess you could make the argument that the high value in itself is the bug, but I'm keeping it.
And it's definitely not an isolated case anyway, lots of cyberware I noticed that when upgrading the secondary stats all stay the same, even though the expected behavior should be a slight increase with every upgrade.
If you don't want to get stuck in the Misty tarot quests, make sure you clear the vanilla game's tarot stuff before doing Dogtown's. Otherwise she gets stuck like this and you can't exit. The dialogue options are also looped. Cards are also messed up in her hands for some reason.
This is what worries me most. You can easily see loads of bugs in the world, but who knows what's going on in the background. Yet more issues from 1.0 still present
Yeah... okay... so I recommend everyone gets this because at level 60 on multiple skills, I was missing some good high level shit. Hacking through cover for one. It all works with that ^^^
Edit: Seems to have its own bugs. Can't fucking win
Edit2: And this car I just bought won't show up in the menu:
Oh so that's why my health and cyberware capacity dropped resulting in me unequipping my skeleton cyberware without visiting a ripperdoc.
Finished the one path, was gonna go back and do the other path, and I reckon I'm glad I decided to do it in this order, but I guess I'll wait for the official fix if that mod is also buggy because I plan to do that solo assault for the base game ending.
I mean, I will finish it anyway... dunno what trying has to do with it. I also don't see what finishing it will change, as I feel especially in terms of player dialog you seem to be pushed more in to angel or psycopath and it feels jarring compared to the rest of the game. And other choices even when it comes to the friendly npcs., it just ... some of the choices available just feel completely unnatural and just moronic.

Because what value does the opinion of "i have played it a bit" hold?
What value does playing it for 3 hours or 20 hold for what I said? The writing is either worse or it isn't. If I finish it and the writing gets better (which it probably doesn't), what I played already is still just as bad and it still affects the overall quality of the dlc.
I hate this obsession with "You just haven't played it enough". What I play, regardless of how long, is either good or bad on its own. Whatever comes after won't change how good or bad what I played already is. And this applies to everything, not just writing.
My opinion, just like yours has pretty much no value anyway, just a random dumbass posting his 2 cents on a near-empty forum where 90% of ppl are jaded fucks.
But here, just so you're satisifed with my detailing of how much I played. I'm somewhere around 5-6 hours in to the dlc.
Spoiler:
I've just had my heart to heart with So Mi and it was underwhelming as fuck. First of all this is someone you've only interacted with a few times by this point and only met in person once for about 30sec, so she is being way to familiar and close. She has to this point lied about more or less everything and basically set you up for her own benefit. The fact she asks you to trust he is fine, the fact that there is an option to say you trust and understand her fully after a 2 min. sob story about her past is ludicrous. I don't care that you don't have to pick the option, it is appaling it is even there.
Main antagonist confronts you in the heart of his territory. You are fucked, beyond so really... He just lets you go, despite knowing who you work for an there's no good reason. This is the same guy who had no issue with trying to kill/kidnap the president just a bit earlier.. And you can make an argument that it is a set up, and he's doing it on purpose and all that. Can't voice that and none of the veteran spies are any bit suspicious of it. Not only does he let you go, but you can just come and go from Dogtown as you please, without him revoking the pass mister hands set up for you or anything. It is just stupid.
Then there's all the "commander Shepard" dialog options where you're just a dickhead or super nice/good out of nowhere. This isn't what the rest of the game was about, it is so fucking jarring how its set up, especially with how many people you've killed to this point and all that, it is just fucking immersion breaking to the max.
I think the writing as far as characterizations goes is better than the base game but suffers from it being way too short to really get me invested.
Spoiler:
Reed really suffered from the length because I really still don't get how he's still 'yes madam president' after watching that trailer. If anything, I had thought this whole thing was his play or something and it'd turn out he already murdered the President or something. Haven't played the Sonbird path yet, so maybe Reed gets more fleshed out there like Songbird does in Reed's path.
The writing for the plot of the expansion though, well it's not that bad, but it pretty much feels like a bait and switch.
Spoiler:
I guess they were going for a theme of don't trust the government and stuff, but going deep into enemy territory to rescue the President feels a lot more important than going deep into enemy territory to rescue a government employee.
The gigs and side quests are great though, some don't have a clear cut best choice or can have surprising consequences which is fun, but again those don't really affect the world or the story.
As with the main quest, I feel like PL should have been Reed's story the way it was written. Much like how I felt the main quest was really just Silverhand's story, and both would have been improved writing / delivery wise if we just played as the Silverhand or the Reed character.
Cuckpunk 2077. Out with Keanu, in with whamen replacement, female president you aren't badass enough to even manage to hit (like bullshit Nadia in Uncharted 3) and a US that is at war with the conservatives
It's just taking western politics and throwing it in our faces. One or two of these aren't any issue, but altogether it's kinda ridiculous.
Eh, Keanu comes back not long after and is still your main head companion. As for the president... she is the president so it is reasonable to assume she has all the top implants, as such, it ain't that far-fetched. There's issues with the writing, but I don't think those 2 are really agenda pushing.
Some see agenda pushing everywhere. "F00K1N PRONAWNSism".
Hansen's militia is not depicted in anyway as some ultra right wing group. Just a deserter who went "independent" with no ideology but biz.
Great expansion but it is short, seems to have a little more replayablity with different choices however. The new gigs are also way more fleshed out than the main game. but it is a different scale.

The other side of the coin though is that some people apparently never see it, yet always rage when it's mentioned or become truly passive aggressive.
They do see it too of course, but they support it. I don't blame them as we're all free to have different opinions, but i'll call you a weak minded prick though for veiling your beliefs.
This is generalized and not pointed at you directly fyi
For me I don't give a fuck about western politics, it's a shitshow of bot generated retards pointing at simplified caricatures of their own making.
The left is not left and the right is not right. The hyperfocus on sex and race is the old divide and conquer against all working class. Both serve the same goal.
