Diablo IV and Tony Hawk's Steam release timing really feels like Activision is trying to milk as much money as they can right before Microsoft owns them and it becomes their profits instead. I bet Activision hope that the deal gets pushed another 2 months so they can get those Call Of Duty release profits too.

Maybe Microsoft can turn some of these companies around because i don't think any of the publishers they've acquired make any good games anymore?

i don't know why people always think microsoft "turns something around"?! just look at their history of buying stuff, it always ends worse and it will be the same here since making games for a gamepass will always end in a mediocre product.

Tony Hawk 1 and 2 came out like 3 years ago on Epic Games.

I was referring to the Steam release just due to that simple fact that it came out on Epic 3 years ago, so it was like Activision forgot it even existed until the Microsoft acquisition was about to happen so they were like let's put it up on Steam and get a bit more money while we are still own it.

They are doing math right, he is doing it wrong..and making fun of them by not understanding how it works in diablo. (Granted they framed it weird)
For example the 1400 vs 1440. All bonuses are of the base, not cumulative stacks (and not many games do it that way).
So 1000*1.2 = 1200, add another 1.2 multiplier of your base = 200. So 1400.
Nearly all games bonuses are calculated against the raw number, not sequentially added to already modified numbers.
It's usually a very bad practice to allow multicators to stack in game mechanics (be it gun range, damage, rate of fire, or xp, coin earned etc).

Dunno, cant explain that.
But without an answer, cannot say it was because of that either. As the math works the exact same way all the other multipliers and bonuses work in most all blizzard games.

But the math was right? Just the formulas was wrong (they failed to show their work correctly to get the right answer)
I still think they listed the formula wrong, not that they got the total wrong. The 1400 is right, now they displayed they get it was wrong.
People are making fun of them for the math, but getting wrong why they are making fun of it by also being wrong.
"Blizzard can't math!"
"Yep, they dont know how to show how they got 1400, You can't established game mechanic either and think it should be 1440"
If ya want to make fun of how they got it wrong, dont get it wrong how they they got it wrong. 
Unless they meant it to be different this time (cumulative stacking bonuses) than how they do math in other diablos (and WoW, and overwatch, and warcraft/starcraft).
It's always been base + (base * bonus) + (base * bonus) + [...]
And not base*bonus(base*bonus(base*bonus)...]).

You are missing my point.
Blizzard has the formula wrong, never said they didn't. People are lulzing over "They had the answer wrong. No the answer is right", the 'show your work' is wrong.
Because to get 4 for an answer, to say 2 + 1 = 4 is wrong...
and they are going "LULZ it should answer 3...(nope we wanted 4, so I did the wrong math, you say the wrong answer based on that wrong math formula)
And why does everyone assume anytime I point something out, I am supporting it the whole of what it relates to? Im pointing out BOTH sides are wrong.
Games a mess, blizzard fucked the game, they had they formula wrong.
And People on youtubez cannot grasp well know mechanics to get right WHY the info they gave was wrong 
BOTH blizzard and the people luzzing are wrong, one on the correct answer, the other on how to get that answer.
They are making fun of the wrong thing. In no situation is the answer 1440, nor in any situation does the wrong formula they show give you the correct answer of 1400.
They are making idiots of themselves, by pointing out the wrong reason blizzard made idiots of themselves.

Blizz has the right formula.
It had massive sales, I've also been here long enough to know you will buy the expansion for this game + pre-order the next game /w premium cult edition durr hurr extra $'s. Most this board buy every shitty AAA hyped game every single time.

Talking to me? (or in general?) because I didn't even buy the base game.
My friend Avi got it for me, I had no plans to buy it or want it. He got it for me and a friend as he wanted someone to play with him.
Well he didn't even buy it. He runs a custom PC store and got the codes from video card promotions.
I dont think its a great game either, or plan on getting expansions. Its a solid C- grade at best, and that only while it has the 'new game smell'. I haven't logged into it since we moved on to other games.
Hack and slash/Action RPG games are not my style. Not even in my top 10 genres if I had to organize them. I dont think I paid for any of the diablo games. 1 I pirated, 2 same (I think, or was given an account someone was done with), 3 I played on my sons account with friends.
Last blizzard game I paid for was warcraft 2. (Thought it was worth it)
