It was released way too early imo, but let's not pretend this is anything close to WC3 Reforged either It's a vast improvement on a lot of stuff, but yeah, it ends up being worse on certain key aspects. They probably shouldn't have stuck with this Summer deadline and delay if for the game's greater good - hitreg and movement is way too important for it to be so unreliable atm.
They made the choice of not splitting their communities up further (1.6/CSS/CSGO/CS2 would have been too much), especially in regards with competitive play. They want all current tournaments running on the same version of the CS flagship. It is what it is, but there are reasons for it besides fucking the customer over.
On another note, you can still play CSGO if you wish (without official servers anymore though) on Faceit/community servers that remain up, selecting a beta branch or something allows you to do so

Yeah, unless you're queuing for some odd map only on a very low-populated server at odd hours, you're not going to wait for long at all, regardless of one's skill level !

Cheats are out of control as per usual, most games have a wall hack/aimb per side. On the plus side I random case dropped 10k of skins which makes up for it.

Haven't played CS seriously in maybe 20 years now. Gave it a good go after the last day or so. I have almost no latency and I often die shooting people, I can see their blood from where the bullets are hitting and I can see the blood spatter on walls where I've hit them. However, quite often it says I didn't hit them at all. What's up with that?
Can't go more than 0.00001ms around a corner without being 1 shot by an AK either

lol that's my story on most multiplayer FPS games, between hackers and shit like this I gave up years ago.
Nobody really understands how the subtick system actually works with lag compensation, each and every one has an opinion about it including pros and whatnot, but when it comes to deciphering odd cases in gameplay, there are always 5 different "legitimate" interpretations as to whether it's lag, the subtick, a peeker advantage..
If you want to have the actual perspective of the game, watch the demo. You'll see what actually happened there, replays/VODs are misleading.
The game probably needed another 6 months to a year before launch.

Pretty much any popular FPS you can google, download unbannable wallhack/aimbot within 2-3 mins. I can't get invested in a mp game where I or anyone else can become instant leet pro in 2 min google search.
I only play solo fps, or co-op FPS, Arma had paid for private moderated servers here which was good. Unless mistaken private dedicated servers are being phased out by Devs, so meh mp FPS.
