Exactly the same with Aquaman 2, shortest DC movie ever. People are getting tired of superhero movies and they know they have a box office bomb. But they filmed those during peak woke and when people still watched superhero stuff so somehow got to get them out there with minimum marketing costs.

One person familiar with the script permutations says the story at one point morphed into a narrative led by women and filled with life lessons. Blade was relegated to the fourth lead, a bizarre idea considering that the studio had two-time Oscar winner Ali on board.

They haved exhausted the main good old characters with complete stories and the few left are shafted with diverse-washing and attempts to make them "hip" for younger audiences in addition to promoting storylines behind paywalls (D+). Younger viewers don't give a fuck about Ms.Marvel and other new lady-heroes.
