I also didn't have any of these physics or whatever issues even on 1.6, but I played in mainstream 1080p @ 60 Hz resolution with vsync on, so everything was aligned with consoles.

I just did a full playthrough of this over.. 65h on the PS5 and encountered pretty much none of these issues Laughing Only bug i had was when NPCs failed to call me to continue the quest but i figured out that if you trigger an autosave by driving into a new area, they call you immediately.

PC peasant race better buy a PS5, methinks. Laughing Laughing

I've read the same for the game at its release state too, i'm sure i must have read 100+ posts from people playing it and it was playable just fine (PC).
Some of that is just luck and some of it is just people not the noticing bugs of course.

Every game in existence has bugs, especially open world games, tons and tons of bugs Smile

Not defending this game, just stating facts Razz

There are millions of people playing games so you will always be able to see tons and tons of proof of the bugs that happens to people, what you won't see are the ones playing these games and not experiencing bugs because there's nothing to report other than perhaps "i had a good experience" and then people who didn't will directly jump on them "you lie, the game is SO buggy!" etc. That's pretty lame because it's not how gaming works.

That's not excusing either this or Starfield (which i hate) or any game out there, it's just a fact that games can be more or less buggy and it also depend a LOT on how lucky or unlucky you are because games are complex and what triggers a certain bug can be super complex, maybe 1% does the thing that triggers a specific bug, it'll still be enough for many videos, screens, angry discussions about that bug they had.

So no, not defense, just a fact how games works.

a lot of games rely on directly on physics and animated locomotion and both are notoriously hard to police. as far as bugs go, not very interesting and they tend to manifest more on potato computers.

At this point i've seen 20'ish reviews of 2.0 and the DLC, and they've not had your very bad or buggy experience with the game, and these has been reviewers who are more critical leaning (i tend to follow those, and not the shills...).

Exactly what am i saying that doesn't hold true? You're claiming everyone's experience is the same? Then you're lying through your teeth and you know it or you're new to PC games, and i know you are not.

absolutely.. tons of physics related bugs leads to weird shit that aren't supposed to happen. Open world games usually have these glitches.

On the Swedish forum/review site i'm on, it was voted 2020 game of the year by the members on there, 100's of people loved it and had no real issues with it. To this date they are very vocal of how great the release was and how bug free it was for them.
If you only read on nfohump though, you'd believe the release version was 100% unplayable. Neither is true of course, i don't believe for a second that the release version was bug free, and i don't believe it was completely unplayable either. It's just like always, some have luck (because of computer/drivers, not doing stuff that triggered bugs), some experience shitty bugs and those people will be super vocal about them (understandable, i am too if i have them). what i won't do is say "your're lying, you can't have had a bug free game, because i had many bugs!" it's not how it works.

Rolling Eyes i'm not gonna repeat myself anymore, we are not getting anywhere with this.

look, i'd also complain if i had a buggy experience, it's why i'm waiting in the first place. And i've never ever said you shouldn't complain about broken or buggy games, i'm super vocal about that myself too. I'm not exactly a CDPR fan boy.

cant share ur experience, just couse i dont post bunch of images dosent mean my experience isnt different

i had some bugs when i finished on 1.5 or 1.6, now with many hours on phantom liberty ive probably seen like 2 instances when npcs dissapeared in the distance, this is not something i would go out of my way to post everywhere that the game is still bugged, in fact im surprised how polished it is given last time ive played

Lots of other things that happen quickly, but I'm not fast enough
On some of those it appears cars are being spawned in place (or along the side) of NPC's Laughing
For the other cases, no idea.

No mods beside the UI one?

there's certainly different levels of 'bugs' that people consider
i don't consider the majority of shit he posts as bugs, they're in every game with physics and instanced characters and they are anywhere there are heavy levels of optimization in elements of gameplay that aren't mission critical. you just can't spend your entire CPU budget verifying if an animation is perfectly seated, particularly if you are using technologies involving animation-driven locomotion.

ultimately you either get people annoyed about performance or you get people annoyed about things that have no effect on gameplay due to optimization. cyberpunk is already heavy as fuck, i don't think having npcs and cars having ironclad spawning routines would help Laughing

can't say i had many problems, even on RELEASE DAY with cyberpunk, while the entire internet was in arms about LOD problems on their potato computers and giggling about their first time seeing animation desync. certainly far from a perfect game, but what really is the golden standard here?
