Yeah I'll call this out because shit like this bugs me. About this amazing Starfield musical score (and this is all AAA and big budget movies lately not just me shitting on this game). They have money + an orchestra, I honestly believe in these cases they task the composer with ripping off a popular theme the target market audience that would know to help sell the game/movie.
Starfield, 0:23 seconds.
Hunger Games, 0:04 seconds.
it's 1 note different, and the hunger games one is better. Then they absolutely saturate you with that melody over and over. So yeah, im not impressed with the StarField score.
lmao its not even their theme...thought that part was the best thing of the game
Played 20 minutes before i shut i down. I am going to play later but i feel i need to have the right mindset. Went from a grey base on a grey moon to a grey moon with another grey base with enemies and boring interior design. Just couldn't do it.

That's how I felt with every Fallout game. Each time I tried F3, New Vegas or F4 I just see grey and brown everywhere and makes me depressed.

honestly if it's that bad for you, why bother
space gonna be a lot of moon, although very little grey
love it here, fuck outlandish color on planets/moons i would live on mars
either way the start is quite a slog, particularly if you didn't enjoy fallout
can't imagine it is surmountable if you hate scifi design or hate bethesda crap-for-combat fo4 loot goblin simulator

That is a lot of assumptions on my likes based on my dislike of grey moons

well, you said it yourself
its sounds like it will be hell of an upward struggle to me
I thought the environments for my 7-8h were pretty decent, I didn't get into a lot of the random procedural generated stuff but mars and its city were decent. Atlantis is rough top-side will get fixed with mods, the interiors and underground? were good. Ship interiors, moon bases were detailed and good.

While I find the score in its most calm passages enticing (and even beautiful in some small cases) I agree that they overwhelm your senses with the main melody. You get a quest finished? BAM. You discover a new place? BAM-BAM. You start the game? You even finish your session? BAM-DEE BAM!

i think its a form of advertising/brainwashing where whenever people hear the tune they immediately think "starfield!"
Oh for sure on its own it's a nice soundtrack and score. If you've not seen hunger games no problems. The main repetitive theme is close to plagerism levels though and yeah why am I continually thinking of Jenifer Lawrence playing this game.

You'll need to de-jenniferlawrencing in the aftermath, men.
I think this is it Too overwhelming, never felt so stomped with a main melodic motive in any other videogame.
Btw jermore, honestly asking. Is it good to stick with the main quest and do the rest/sidequesting afterwards?
hah, pointless to ask me
i've done three or four bits of the mainquest while being horribly sidetracked doing space shit, building shit, doing quests on mars, building new ships etc
people really recommend doing the mainquest at least until you finish "into the unknown".. i'm almost there
i like variety in my life tho so i have been doing everything and having a blast..
Played it an hour or so, it seem to be quite nice. I wish i had better fps though, but its not that bad.
One thing that i really dislike is that they dont have 5120x1440 resolution, im stock with black bars at 3440x1440.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
at the end of the day this will still be a win for todd
so much attention for a game that is just above average even on the hump^^
its like every day a new page
It's like any other Bethesda game. It's a kind off niche that some people like, and they are very vocal about it. But the games are avarage at best. They got their reputation cause of the older titles being innovative in world design and graphics, but they have yet to make a decent game RPG.
Would've been more fun if she said something like "we originate from northern Sweden."
and yes its how people in Sweden will look in the not so distant future at all.
would've been too spicy for most though, especially for swedish left-wingers who would be very triggered
you guys act like it's only western white countries that have different breeds in the mix few other countries give a shit about this subject because they address each other by name and race has a miniscule role on how people are judged.
if you were part of a master race you'd have better things to occupy your mind with, believe me.
