Holy shit Laughing Laughing Laughing

Didn't even knew this game was a thing. 200M$ for THIS?????
Who saw this abomination and went "Yeah, that's about cooked. Let's serve it at 100$ a pop".

Wow, Bethesda deserves to crash and burn.

In this case, they are 2-3 years early.

Al of a sudden...

CP 2077 v1.0, ED: Odyssey and NMS seem SO MUCH better than I though they are...

I'm actually looking forward to Cyberpunk 2.0 thanks to how much they shat the bed with this one.

I'll only get the expansion for that one if I enjoy the new gameplay rework though.

I've not played any of those games on account i just really don't like what i've seen of them thus far. Star Citizen tech demo is by far the best of these space sims though imo.

I do suspect CP2077 with this new DLC will be a decent game if you just stick to the main story though.

Yeah i just think there are better games to spend over $100 and time on. The game releasing to mixed opinion kinda means limited future mod support as well. They needed to absolutely hit this game out of the park with it being a new IP and all. The Ship loading situation is an absolute joke, no idea how they thought that would be immersive or acceptable.

I played it for 6 hours I think i was around level 8-9?, I looted 4 legendary items off trash enemies and just didn't think it was worth playing more. I liked the NASA-punk art-style but no alien races was a really bad decision. I might pick up Armored Core 6 or something instead.

Interestingly i got a full automated refund simply selecting the game was falsely advertised and not even adding an optional reason, makes me think a lot of refunds taking place.

Yeah, I really need to give CP2077 a chance, knowing that I'll do it for this one despite everything I've read and seen about it so far.

Anyway, some mods:

I think it may be sharpening with a little chromatic aberration combined with the LUTs i'm using cause film grain is off. Yes everything is bright and i like it that way but also understand why others do not, each to his own i guess... Razz

Still not as worst as a review from a fallout shill that was talking about bethesda giving him early access not influencing his positive coverage whatsoever because... he had already pre-hurrdurred some premium edition?
Makes sense, if you don't think about it

Well good thing the next thing they'll be making (on that genre) is Tes6 running on a new engine, because they need at least this level of long awaited sequel to generate any hype :S

Tbh I've not greatly enjoyed many of their games all in all, some of their aspects are solid but it's all glued together with pure jank that it feels almost funny calling it an AAA game. Perhaps they're great with 200+ mods installed but man, I personally can't be arsed anymore.

I know there's a lot of enjoyment to be had with these games fully modded but the sheer medioctry it starts off from puts me off.

If it takes them 6 (to 25 Laughing ) years to make this, how long would it take them for a TES6 on a new engine?

Does level even matter? I rolled into a hood that to my surprise had a couple of ships 20 levels above me with scary skulls next to their names and proceeded to stomp them with my upgraded ship.

One tactic I noticed was useful is staying really close to them so they can't shoot back. Like bumper cars in space close. Laughing

It seems like the right gear>level. And perks of course.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

So it seems that you can actually travel by ship to other planets, it just takes hours to do so. A streamer went to Pluto in 7 hours. At least one thing that wasn't a creative lie.

One small thing I´ve noticed about performance:

While my GPU shows a 100% usage, the power draw is only about 50%, so there may be huge room for improvement with an adequate driver or game update.

I don't think so, planets are worldbox in flight. You can't get closer to them in your ship. The space travel is so poorly implemented just fast travelling by a static map would have been the better option.

Getting legendary gear after a few hours at level 5 seems poor as well. No point even unlocking weapon crafting etc. as legendary guns and armour come equipped with good mods.
