So both of these titles were announced yesterday.
Broken Sword - Parzival’s Stone and Broken Sword -Shadow of the Templars: Reforged.

Parzival's Stone is the 6th entry in the series, no release date seems to be announced yet.

As for Broken Sword -Shadow of the Templars: Reforged, it is a remaster of the original and is coming in early 2024.

Here's a short trailer for them both.

Well look at that! Lately I've been playing BS2 remastered and I love it! One of my favorite series. Although the animations and generally the graphics looks weird as long as the story is there I'm happy Smile

Thought about the serie not long ago, and wanted to give it a replay.
Great news Smile

Happy to see Revolution still at it. I used to hang out on their site's forums in the early to mid 2000s heavily discussing the games. Good times. User Baseballbatboy didn't cut me any slack though. Mad

Hopefully in this case, BS6, you can DIE like any entry before the last BS5 one

Else it's not that fun. Still i'm glad Revolution is still working on adventure games, specially this one

I hope Reforged brings it back too. One thing I really disliked about the Director's Cut is the absence of situations where you could die.

Not being able (I was like 12-13 at the time, mind you Razz ) to resolve "the situation" with the "bad guy" (in Syria, I think? ), made me redo the game over at the time, thinking I missed an item or whatever.
Took me that second go to realize timing was a thing. EVEN AFTER having butted my head against the "spitting contest" wind thing in Monkey Island 2 Very Happy

Oh boy, sweet, harsh pre-internet times Very Happy

After the damn goat puzzle I knew timing is sometimes important, but that was my first death too.

So the Reforged version is a proper remaster. Only jarring thing is the old voiceover. It was definitely smoothed out, but it's a bit on the lower quality side. But everything else is fantastic. All the art is new: the characters, the locations, the cutscenes. And if you're a masochist you can change to og graphics on the fly Smile

Oh, and while some things got automated (like checking Khans pants) deaths are back and the DC content with Nico is missing. Shame, since I'm in the minority which liked it.
