I pre-ordered it so I can play immediately on the 1st of September. I'll refund it after first starting it so I got that Denuvo ticket and from then on steam emulation will hopefully keep me afloat until the cracl.
Made me check the steam page *again* and once again no mention of denuvo anywhere (that I can see, at least). Do you want to get drop-kicked in the face men?!

Screens of the .exe from gamepass preload also show ~100mb exe sign of no D, but we can never be sure if it will remain like that for release.

I remember playing (pirated) Skyrim many hours before the people on e.g RPGWatch (I can't remember what my excuse was, but i'm sure it was very solid )
guy who does the dlss mods now has DRM for them, so you cant buy them then give the file to someone else for free. Every update the game will receive will break the mod, so you need to pay him for every download (if a month passed)
I posted that in the RDR2 thread the same minute you posted that
What a fucking little bitch though. Trying to cash in on that Starfield payday, just in time. I would sooner donate 10 times the monthly sub cost for someone to remove that auth check.
The guy already makes around 30K a month from his patreon. Why would anyone not be happy with that and try to squeeze even more, risking portion of your userbase ? Greedy fuck.
I saw this mentioned yesterday by some Bethesda modder who is also against what he's doing, but i couldnt find sources.
We'll see how it works for him if i was making 350K a year for close to zero work (by his own words, he's got everything in place that a new game just requires a few hooks, he can make the mod in a day, he said), i wouldn't try to rock the boat and mess that up

What the hell, mods need to be cracked too now? Would be funny if some other guy came along and did it all for free, just to see the reaction from that guy

Imagine loading up Skyrim/FO4 etc with hundreds of mods, and dozens of them need to be authenticated. Sounds like something publishers would come up with.
If it's so easy, why other people don't make this mod?
not that many are familiar with modern rendering pipelines, particularly at assembly level.
it's probably the most dead-end technical knowledge you could obtain, outside a hobby of x86 emulation.
i still wouldn't classify it as "hard", because it's not like he is implementing a new form of DLSS or adding anything new here, he is running render surfaces through pre-existing DLLs with nvidia proprietary tech, they did the real hard work, not him. when injecting it, it's certainly a case of once you know where, you know.
if he was to open source/share his work, maybe others could learn from it and we could enjoy dlss on a lot more games. but i guess that is the real "hard" part
Holy shit Bethesda won’t be happy with this.
I want to watch but I’m not
Some of the YouTube comments though lol.
whose balls do i have to lick to get access to this game
and you're right i don't think they'll be happy about it but they bought it upon themselves. if the game is rock solid it won't be a problem, but if its cyberpunk ps4, these videos could disrupt the game immensely.
if only we could go back to actual worldwide releases instead of 'muh streaming privilege' drip feed releases.
Well the guy in the video got the Constellation Edition. He’s not even a reviewer getting a review copy. It’s a physical release shipped super early. I heard the Constellation Edition included a digital download code not the full game on disc(s) but apparently not lol.
