It looks like a 2015 game . I'm surprised there's some hype for this, the only thing that it looks to have going for it is melee combat and the locational damage (which is good), but outside of that it looks pass/meh.

its the expectation bias combined with some peoples dissapointment of DL2.
basically people expected secong cumming of zombie jeebus from DL2 and it was just an OK game in the end. People expected trashfire from DI2 and it ended up being fun more linear clone of DI1 with cool procedural flesh tech.
Overall they are both 7-ish/10 kind of deal ... but the expectation bias paints them both completely differently
I liked this game alot, but my pc broke when i had like 5-6% left on the game. Got the new pc, installed everything.... Aaaaaaand it turns out that DI2 does not use cloudsave...wtf?

Fair enough - but what do never stop to amaze me (this is not one of these cases so far) are the ones who pirate a game - play through the full game and still complain even though they put enough time into it to finish it and did not pay

Edit: Btw, it was a serious question. If the games gets too bad reviews, i just skip it rather than pirate it. Why spend time on something thats shit? Also, most games can be affordable (not all though) if you just wait until its a sale. I know lots of people want to get their hands on new stuff asap, but personally (and I know this might just be me) i'd rather wait for patches to fix the bugs that we all expect to say the first couple of months and then i get it piss cheap
