I just can't find it in me to be hyped about this anymore
Frst it was that awful origins series and they bully Henry out of the show. That's what i assume happened anyway, and now these people likely have free reign to make origins quality seasons.
Meh i think I'm out, that spinoff kinda put me off the series. I watched this first episode, i like Henry Caville, but the rest just doesn't have anything to do with Witcher for me, the tone is off, wtf is this story? especially when you have all this source material already..
well i expect the first part of the season to be the slow part and the second to be the more actiony part. Either they're 5 years old with no movie and series experience or i have bad news for them.
But i'm personally boycotting this due to how they're shitting on the witcher and how they treated Henry.
I though S1 was perhaps a 6.5/10. Didn't watch S2, a close friend says i'm an idiot because he claims its a lot better than S1, though he also liked Rings of Power and gave it a 10 so.... i'm sure he will love S3, he watched the spin-off mini series too
Just my humble oppinion. I've watched it in a couple days. First three episodes were really good until they weren't. Third episode is the stinker here. But then there was the second day with the last two episodes of this first part series and I've had a blast. Enjoyed it greatly. Monsters, if few, were gruesome and well choreographed, really entertaining fights! Cavill felt even better than in the first season (which is far better than the second imho) and I liked the last episode with the Knives Out-kinda montage through the whole episode. Some filling here and there, granted, but this felt much closer to the original lore of The Witcher saga, and sometimes it felt like viewing a good chapter of TW3:The Wild Hunt. Cavill will be sorely missed, that's for sure.
that ep 5, the knives out as u said, needed a proper director, it just didnt worked, no need to repeat half the episode again lol, was a boring mess. and the ending...clearly this season wasnt structured to be aired into 2 parts
