Looks like it's the Ubisoft formula alright, with a difficulty level you can be comfortable with while stoned/drunk/just dumb as hell from the comfort of your couch (c)
When the space flight started, I was fully expecting an arcade barrell roll (sign it's something running on invisible rails rather than an actual dogfighting experience).. came within 2 seconds
Can probably be enjoyable for what it's worth if you can stand the main character.. that's not a given

Tbh, I've already played all the gameplay experiences such a game looks to be able to deliver, doubt it'll actually get any of my time
Indeed, I can share the sentiment. The environments/visuals look pretty (as long as Ubisoft doesn't downgrade them) and there doesn't seem to be anything particularly egregious going on in terms of gameplay besides the sense of cinederpmatic deja-vu, but the concept that revolves around the brazen young protagonist + cute sidekick + quirky Disneyan adventuring doesn't really intrigue me. Or maybe I'm simply getting too old and grumpy for this
She just can't just shut the fuck up. 30 seconds of that video and that character has to narrate every fucking thing. "well that worked". "Ughh, shield". "they just don't quit". How fucking annoying.

It is funny how before the gameplay showcase everyone was going this will be a Division reskin because of the dev team, now that they showed footage it's become an Assassins Creed reskin because Ubisoft.
Perhaps not the game we have hoped for, but Star Wars is perfect for gaming, to few games are made in this universe so the more the better.
If this game is only decent the production values alone will be worth a playtrough.

It's just a generic 3rd person action game for now, but yeah it's funny to see us trying to fit the game into one of UbiSoft's pre-cooked formula : while we don't have enough footage to decide of that, UbiSoft did that to themselves

Looks more like Uncharted / Jedi Survivor mixed with some Horizon.

Because we are not the target of this shit, I have lost hope of any good games coming out of the big studios all is done for the people that are casual gamers who don't want to be challenged.
yeah its getting worse. when i see what my friends kids play i lose all hope fuck, give them some donkey kong and some ghouls'n'ghosts, but i guess they'd go crying to mommy in 2 minutes.
at least there's From Software, thus I have at least one game i'm really looking forward to this year. i'm not even excited for starfield. if its amazing, cool, i have zero hype.
