It's a common misconception that only the top 1% are swimming in money, in practice it is more like the top 10-15%. In a country of 300 million people this is a LOT of people..
Lots of apartments here are owned and rented out by private citizens (doctors, lawyers, old boomers, heirs etc.) when the ECB lowered the base rate all those years ago they all started investing in real estate. They did just as much damage to the market as the investor groups, if not more.

Yeah, its nice to know im no longer renting, unable to put my stuff where i want, have my own space, have my own rules etc. Pretty cool. Now the amount of shit i gotta learn and do is insane, UV Filter, Water softener, septic tank, well, roof drains, water drainage, land grade, YO couldnt this shit be simpler lol.
Fun times ahead. Very very excited, just waiting on loan approval and appraisal.
